Set up my dvr to record the game tonight while at work like I do with all the preseason games for some reason it says the game is blacked out I live on long island
When I was in the guide it said the only channel it was on was the NFL network I know it's on a local channel but never had this issue before
Would you pay to advertise your services to local New York people on a local New York channel if you knew they could quite easily be watching the same programming at the same time on a different channel?
I had the same exact problem. Was busy with family stuff until a little before 9PM, at which point I settled in and picked the supposedly recorded program from the menu- 0 Minutes recorded on the NFLN. I specifically picked the NFLN when selecting the recording because NBC4 was only showing regular programming for the time in question. Had it been a regular season game I'd have been alot more pissed off.
NBC was a fuckin disgrace. At least twice they come back from commercial and we missed 2 plays. Cover the fuckin game
It was like watching a high school broadcast. Where were the replays? How does Papa not say the Jets replaced the entire first team defense against the Giants # 1 offense instead of going nuts about the Giants run game? Carl Banks is the only decent thing about the broadcast.
Reminds me of a pre-season game last year, or the year before, where one of the NFLN announcers remarked, "Oh look, a fumble!"
I did a search the only thing that came up was the nfl network. I had no idea what was the local channel
 How about last year when Dan Deirdork said " Darrell Revis, he's a football player" No shit...
That's not Directv's fault. Broadcast rules state that if a game is available on a local market channel, it can't be simultaneously carried on another channel.
total user error. that game was so ugly last night and that broadcast was so piss poor, that it might not have been an error at the end of the day lol
