Thought both Kyle Wilson and Vlad Ducasse had very important games in relationship to boosting their confidence.

Kyle Wilson saved a TD on a great stop and tackle at the goal line. He also had a hit on Eli before the half.

Vlad Ducasse did a nice job of sealing the defender on a goal line TD for us and had no major penalties or sacks against.

    Just what both players needed............

Does that mean we don't have to cut Vlad before the season opener? DOES THAT MEAN HE MIGHT ACTUALLY BE LEARNING AND DEVELOPING LIKE A PROJECT PLAYER SHOULD BE DOING AT THIS STAGE OF THEIR CAREER?!!!1!

    say it ain't so.

Couldn't agree more...I especially like the way Kyle Wilson is playing..I am extremely confident in having him be our starting nickel corner. I still think he needs to continue to find the ball when its in the air, but he is a solid tackler and locks on the receiver pretty well.

Once a "turnstyle" always a "turnstyle"! They just hide the turnstyle in the corner or cover it up so nobody sees who's going thru it.

Was great to see him so excited after the TD. Thought he was gonna kill our RB with that giant "bear hug." Must feel great for him to put together a solid game.

a little patience (especially from this fanbase) will go a long way. I'm not saying Vlad will be morph into a probowl player overnight, but he's obviously on the right track despite having a few speed bumps along the way.

Do I want him to start at RT in week 1? fuck no.

But I'm glad he had some positives to take away from tonight's game.

dude, you know patience is not exactly the strong point of the majority of TGG posters.

it is great to see him, albeit slowly, progressing forward.

As much as I like his development progressing, it also means a guy like Brandon Moore or Wayne Hunter become more expendable. Its great to keep refreshing the line, but I also like to see some consistency in the OLine as well.

Hopefully Vlad can be the next Rob Turner and get put out in the jumbo packages. Or step in, should there be injury.

    Time will tell...
