Probably because Al Davis is still breathing.

A first? I think a 3rd would be generous. I'd be happy with a 4th at this point.

What a moron, a first for Hoyer? lolololololol. The Eagles got a 2nd and Rogers-Cromartie for Kolb. But nope, a first round pick for Brian Hoyer!

I agree that we won't get a 1st or a 2nd for him. In my view, he's a good back up, but not a starter. Once again, I'd be very happy with a 3rd for him but I don't think we'll get it.

The only thing funnier then this statement would be Ochocino scoring a TD against the Bills, grabbing the "patriot" gun, and mis-firing/shooting himself in an epic fail at a celebration :rofl2:

I forgot people trade first round picks for back up qbs because they started a lot of games in College. I can't tell if you're being serious.

I'd be ecstatic if we got a 1st. I just don't see it. That said, I hope I'm wrong and you're right!

If Brian Hoyer's mediocre college career makes him worth a 1st round pick, then I assume that the Jets can get a Ricky Williams to the Saints style package for Greg McElroy?

I just watched the game again. Brady made a lot of crappy throws. Other than the one TD, everything outside of 5 yards sucked.

That is what he is saying. McElroy would be worth at least a 1st rounder and/or at the very least a pro-bowl caliber player. He is roughly valued the equivalent of Hoyer.

Excuse me Hoyer is about the most valuable back up QB in the league. The next Peyton Manning.

Not a good game by Brady. Then again, most of the Pats didn't play well. It's going to be a long week for the players in Foxborough.

I agree. Hoyer is obviously the future, and at his age would make Brady look like a clown. You guys will probably get a never ending 1st round pick from the Raiders, until Hoyer is out of the league.

Atleast Welker...CARED! Did you see him overachieving the dick out of that game? Each catch was waaaaaaaaay out of his league. Guy overachieves every time he puts his helmet on.

If that was a long time ago, the Pats' last playoff win must seem like a folk tale.
