I don't think it's a shot at Revis... I mean, the same would apply to Aso sinche he isn't getting many turnovers as well. He was just trying to motivate his young CBs. That said he has no clue what a CB is supposed to do in this league... -.-"
but he lost weight and has more enthusasim after a XP than anyone in the league this alone shouldve had him in contention for coach of the year last year. c'mon MB we need to be fair to when credit is due.
lets take comfort in the fact that this idiot has no idea how to judge players in their position, and he's a head coach in our division. Yahtzee! thinking about it some more... it makes sense now. dude doesn't know football. why else would he get so damn excited every time they get 3?
How about Rex vs. Sparano in playoffs? Oh wait, Sparano never made it to the playoffs while Rex took this team to two straight AFCCGs, so no Rex vs. Sparano in playoffs. I'll be glad to lose two against a less than average team in Miami and make it to the playoffs.
We will see. Their futures do seem attached at the hip... However, I'm fairly confident that this team will be better than last year with a more aggressive offense and an even better defense. Will it be enough to contend? Not sure. But I think it should be enough for a winning record... which I think would at least keep Sparano around...
On topic though... this came about b/c Vontae said that he feels Sean Smith and him are the best CB duo in the league. Even if you dont agree with that statement (which I'm sure most of you dont. I dont necessarily agree with it either)... you would have to put them up there in the top 3-5, no? And they each have only played 2 seasons... which is very promising.
