80s/90s uniforms

I have a green Toon with the black trim from back in the day--actually it's #88 but has no name on it.

 

no im not kidding that thing looked amazing



and ours while not the best in that pack (too close to phillys current black jersey) its definatly better than what we have now



im beating a dead horse though
apparently (and surprisingly) im the only person who feels like this lol

 

My problem w/ those jerseys is when I see the I think about losing teams since we only had one winning record w/ the black trim jerseys.

 

those black unis are so lame looking God help us if we even consider such a disaster. The Classic White Uni is Far superior to the the star wars/teenage mutant ninja turtles look.

Those supposed "Nike 2012" uniforms are fakes. And poorly done ones too. Some guy came up with those (a while ago) in his basement using Photoshop and the Pro Combat template. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/11/19/those-supposed-nike-uniform-sketches-are-fake/

 

I feel the same way. I grew up with the Jets swoosh logo uniforms. Instead of the Titans crap, Our throwback jerseys should def be the 80s swoosh.

 

I am so glad that these are fake. No one has the right to change JETS jerseys except the Jets.

The Birmingham Bolts and the LA Extreme were worse in my opinion.

 

The Titans uniforms were because of the 50th AFL anniversary. All of the old AFL teams wore their original uniforms.

It wasn't meant to be a fashion show.

 

Love that helmet. Its excellent. Just bring back the 80/90's logo. Keep the current uniforms.

 

We wore the titans jerseys two or three years in a row.

 

yea, in 07/08/09. As much as they say they were for the AFL 50th anniversary, it goes without saying they just wanted to sell more jerseys.

 

No, those shiny ones shocking, we look like a kids birthday party entertainer. The current ones are sweet

 

Thanks if they don't go with the 80/90s as throwbacks this is what I want them to wear. But they won't considering the jerseys are basiclly what they wear now.

 

We wore them in '07 & '08 too when it wasn't to celebrate an anniversary. we cracked out white Titan uni's in '09 to sell new jerseys. It's all about money and selling more merchandise.

 

I wish we had a 3rd alternate jersey to wear once a year, maybe the novelty black jerseys that they used to sell?
