You had to figure out he did, since he didn't own up to it in the postgame presser. He deflected when asked whether calling it was a mistake.
Are you talking about football or is is this some shit-for brains version of Dungeons and Dragons? "I cast your small scrappy slow white players into the sea of oblivion!"
Ken, of the recent influx of New England twats to this board I find your posts a rare exception in that they're mainly interesting and relatively unbiased, but why the fuck are you coming on to a Jets board and then complaining about the way that Jets fans are talking the Jets?
I only do coke, well and an occasional snort of crystal meth but I have been drug free at least an hour.
And what the hell are you clinging to the last couple years? What mighty breast have you been milking since you last won a playoff game. Tell us about all the grand ole moves your fearless leader made in the offseason to put you guys over the top so you can become, once again, a competitive force in the playoffs and lose the new label of one and out. Geriatric receivers? Unlike your great move of getting the youthful, cant get him off the field NT? Listen...you want to talk about the history of the two franchises..breaking news...you win. You win the old sagging dried up milkless breast award. You want to talk about current past? Win a playoff game...just one home playoff game...and maybe you too can reenter the conversation of relevant contender.
Yes it's just the preseason but I think people like the changing trends coming out of Foxboro. The problem for the Patriots is that regular season is almost an extended training camp. It's only the post-season that matters. And, yeah, they've been stuck getting out of the gates there. I'll be optimistic and say that, that trend won't last forever.
The Pats scored with 24 seconds to go after that Greene TD. The shit was over and there was nobody covering Branch. I knew Pats fans were going to come out saying : "we'll,it was only a 1 score game." The Jets dominated from beginning to end and I wish they didnt allow that dusty clown to get behind them with 24sec to go.
That fact of the matter is both games will be competitive. The second game last year considering recent history between the two teams, was an aberration. Even when the Patriots were winning titles and the Jets were not making the playoffs, those games were competitive. This year will be no different. The Jets fans are up in arms because the Patriots fans don't want to acknowledge the Jets are a good team and seemingly will be for a while. So say what you want but the Jets are not going away.
Its not so much about how they talk about the Jets, its about how they talk about the Pats. But you make a good point, Johnny. I'm probably a little cranky since its Sunday, and I have no football to watch OTOH you guys will have some fun dissecting the woeful Bungels
I hope this whole "Air Belichick" thing goes away. I liked it much better when they had a balanced team.
This is what it should really be: QB - Pats obviously RB - I would definitely pick the Jets RB's over the Pats. WR\TE - Jets. Welker is only good because he has TB. And Ocho is washed up. We both have great TEs... Oline - Jets Dline - I'd say its a tie here LBs - Jets, Harris\Scott might be the best MLB tandem in the NFL. Secondary - Jets, Obviously the Jets have the best CB in the NFL. Special Teams: Jets, As long as we have Westhoff our special teams will always be one of the best in the league.. Coaching: BB might be a better technical coach but Rex really makes his players buy into his beliefs and the system. Rex has to be the best players' coach in the league. I'd say its a draw..
Oral/Anal DP. Here's the one stat that matters: Jets had a higher score. Pats went home. Why weren't you trolling here 7 months ago after the game?
We were saying the same thing about the OPs quote from one of your fanbase's longer tenured fans (been a Pats fan for a strong 5 years), and look what happened.
