Wow not sure if it is true but Fitzgerald is getting an 8 year 120 Million contract with 50 Million guaranteed. Thats insane because thats 15 Million a year for 8 freaking years. Holmes didnt even get half that wow.

Yea I know. I was reading on the Pats board though for a couple years know concerning Fitz and many were under the impression he was going to the Patriots. Of course now they are all trying to play it down, but im sure some of them are feeling a little burnt similar to how we felt over Nnamdi.

I'm not knocking Holmes, but I'm sure we would all agree that we would take Fitz over Holmes. He managed to almost catch a 100 balls with John Skelton as his quarterback.
As others have mentioned, Fitzgerald is about to make almost twice as much as Holmes is going to make while playing for us. Our motto is still "ground n pound" so give me the cheaper guy who's actually gotten a ring (and is a great playmaker in his own right).
