    Only three of our starters, ( Thomas, Scott, and Pouha) are over 30, Pace is 30 exactly, so most of our defense isn't over 30.

    from the sound of it, neither will play tomorrow. I think Mason has a knee injury.

    I think it pretty good compared to the Steelers, who has 7 players over 30, 1 at 30, and one who will be 30 by the time the season ends...

    Pouha, Scott and Pace don't need the reps. They know the D. I hope Pace won't play at all. No sense in risking aggravating the injury and causing it to linger (as groin injuries can). Dixon knows the D as well. He could probably use the snaps, but better to not risk him.

    As long as the injuries aren't serious and won't linger into the regular season, this could be a blessing in disguise. This will give Wilkerson, Ellis, Pitoitua, Gilbert, MTV, Westermann and Mauga more snaps. That will help with their experience and growth, and give Rex & Pettine a better idea of how these guys will do in game situations.

    Awesome last thing we need is a ailing injury all season for this guy I feel he could be a huge security blanket for sanchez...
