No risk, high reward imo. If Rex gets something out of him, it's a plus. If Rex shows the problem was with the Bills system, we get a 1st round talent for the next 10 years. If Maybin sucks ass, he is cut. And, at least he is not Gholston.
According to our salary cap, and the fact were gonna sign this guy to a 1 year contract, I dont see how we would get this guy for the next 10 years, even if he does actually turn out to not be awful
Maybin Just rolling the dice here, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle. The price is right on our end. At best, he'll be a situational guy that can cause some trouble on passing downs.
Sure but this isn't baseball where the contracts are guaranteed. If he sucks, the Jets drop the axe on him. No harm, no foul.
Why thank you, hopefully I've earned your respect and approval for my astute findings! Seriously though, without being a douche, can someone tell me why you'd be skeptical of signing a guy that might not even make the roster? Because he sucks? So then you'd probably be skeptical of about 30 signings a year.
So is he the answer to not re-signing Ihedigbo, or does Rex and company actually plan on developing Maybin?
no risk signing unlike gholston the jets have nothing invested in maybin if he stinks up the joint he is gone in 3 weeks and if he impresses MAYBE he becomes an impact player dude was a first round pick only 2 years ago so he obviously has some talent
