    So what are they looking at him for? Special Teams? Coverage? ILB?

    I can't imagine he'd offer much to the team as an OLB at his size right now...

    if there's no guaranteed money, that's no an issue.

    nothing is stopping them from signing maybin and a free agent OLineman.

    We have about 7 or 8 mil dollars worth of cap space right now. I can't see Maybin affecting that too much.

    You don't want him anywhere near special teams. Look no further than the tape of the Bears game a couple nights ago. Maybin whiffed on tackles in 2 big KO returns.

    Hopefully we bring in one of the dinosaur OL who've become recently available. The Turner injury sucks, we'll need to add a competent body since Ducasse doesn't look ready.

    Ideally, Damien Woody comes out of retirement for one last hoorah, but that ain't happening and he probably has stopped working out.

    So is thinking he's eligible for the practice squad.

    If he gets signed, he'll likely be cut before the season starts anyway. He can't be put on the PS. He played every game his rookie season.
