Early Doucet has shown absolutely nothing in his career thus far and would have taken a draft pick to pry him away as an RFA, but that's beside the point. We just drafted Kerley as the future in the slot. We're much better off for having picked up Mason as a stop gap.

Anyone know what the deal is with Noel Devine? Heard the Eagles waived him within 72 hours (some rumors have it he walked out?). Yes, we have McKnight whom I expect to pick it up this year as well and Jeri-Kerl as a returner, but this little gnat always intrigued me. Just asking: would it be worth it for the Jets to take a no risk 'look-see' at this kid? any thoughts? thx

Just got this message. Fitzgerald's contract does not allow for him to get franchised at season end.

    not really.

The Jets are so deep at RB he'd be walking into the same deal he had in Philly.

after tonight we need one thing and one thing only and thats OL depth. ducasse is far from ready turner going down is a HUGE blow, (hope its not serious).

is mt. mckinnie still available? if we got a few bucks and can get him to pass a physical i dont see why we dont take a shot at him.

We'll probably look at bringing in some OL depth regardless. With Turner getting carted off of the field, that'll likely be one emergency signing.

Everyone please say a prayer for Rob Turner...awesome teammate and great example for Play Like A Jet

He knows more than any of us do. Asking to say a prayer is a pretty terrible sign.

Mario Henderson, Bryant McKinnie, and Jon Stinchcomb.

Sign these chronically overweight and/or injured beasts?

lol. thing is, we have to. sounds like turner is seriously hurt. i mean it looked bad on tv. so we need one of these guys.

after seeing brunell's tweet i would guess stinchcomb is the first one we have in.

Well it's not like he'd be receiving a huge contract. If he sucks we can just cut him.

#Jets have extended a one-year offer to Aaron Maybin, per source. However, about 5-6 other teams have made similar offer. No decision yet

Well it's not about the money, it's the cap space. We carry 5 RBs, Turner isn't gonna contribute til after the bye and Ducasse may not be active on game days. If we're gonna sign anybody I'd rather it be an o-lineman but I suppose we could easily cut one of the scrubs that played last night.
