Gonna have to go find somebody to be a backup along the OL now though. Ducasse is clearly not prepared to step into to turner's role...
Either Felix or Taylor will make the team by default, unless we find a better FA. I'd really like to see Zane Taylor get a bunch of playing time vs Cincy.
people always rant and rave about the skillsets and things they want to see from players in preseason i remember talking to Iggy and Badger the other day and saying I just want a healthy roster come week 1 and I'll be happy. we just lost our 6th OL. hopefully they can bring in a decent vet our 2nd/3rd team OL looked like complete and utter shit so this is a bigger loss than some people will think
That is bad news BUT on a positive note it happened early so we have more time to overcome and he is a backup. Our depth just took a hit but Tannenbaum has time to fill that role.
Oh shit. We lost a backup lineman! Now we can't use him as a blocking tight end anymore. Season's over. 98% of this board wouldn't know who Rob Turner was if Hard Knocks never happened. After this injury and watching last night's second and third team offensive lines, it's obviously time to go out and grab some OL free agents. This team has plenty of cash left over the fix depth issues. Moves will be made.
thank god it was Turner and not Mangold... that said, fuck you Ducasse you fat dumb waste of a roster spot (I know he's a project, just getting some rage off). At this point I'm guessing he'll be headed to IR... best of luck to him for a speedy recovery!
