    He did that to himself.

You can't be scared of injuries. They just happen.

If you play not to get hurt, you'll never win.

After the expectations of the 99 season, I will always fear the injury.

I'm interested to see how Kyle wilson has improved after his offseason training with Revis.

Say what you must, but since 81 we have been legit superbowl contenders 5-6 times. I think had my man Vinny not gone down, 99 would have been the year. But either way, these seasons come few and far between in Jet world, so when an injury tanks one of these years in Game 1, The whole season seems like a deflated balloon.

^BTW, I do love the Jets, and am optimistic every year, even when I shouldnt be. Injuries just suck, and we have to deal with them like you said. But I like to go down with no excuses. We played our best, with the best we got and we lost. No shame in that. Fix it in the offseason.

I think his fear is understandable. Think about it, has anything EVER consistently gone our way prior to the Rex era? More than a few times we've seen the Jets have a great year and then squander the next based on injury or personnel change. Sorry but I don't blame a few SOJFers for being SOJFers with regards to injury, especially in a season in which we're expected to be SB contenders.

    Kerley
    McKnight (RB)
    Potuita (sp?)

Hearing great things about Kerley. He will get a lot of pre-season playing time.
McKnight needs to hang on to the ball.
See if Poti has recovered from the achilles.

That'll take the sting out of Ellis leaving.

  14. 1. Vlad Ducasse- Real x factor for this O-line. has the upside to be a pro bowl Rt and an upgrade over Hunter. But still extremely rough around the edges. Seemed to get better with the more game time snaps he got. Even if he doesn't start he'll be replacing Hunter as the 6th linemen in those jumbo packages. He will make mistakes...but it's hjow he bounces back.

    2. The starting front 7- I want to see how the linebacking group can play w/ a more lively D-line. I also want to see what all the Wilkerson hype is all about.

I'm expecting a rough outing from the 1st offense. We'll be without several key starters against a talented defense that's gonna be out to prove something. I look for a heavy dose of ground and pound, w/ acouple high percentage short passes from Sanchez to get him into a rythym and get some confidence.

I'll be focusing on Wilkerson and Kenrick on defense. On offense, I'm looking forward to seeing Vlad push some people around. I'll be watching Bilal Powell. I want to see what Kerley can provide in the return game. Also, I'd like to see if we have a tight end on this team that can block.

Absolutely Cato, he was last year's Kerley.

I really hope he can contribute this season.

    3) Ropati
    4) Wilson
    5) Kerley

Scotty McKnight (Peter brady) will be lucky to go to the practice squad.
