Change Turner for Hunter...........Turner is an interior backup not a tackle.

Also, we played the second half of the season, and the playoffs, without Leonhard.

Good post. If everyone plays like they are capable, the difference makers will be Kerley stepping up as a good return man, K Wilson improving on a disappointing rookie season, keeping Plaxico's head level and getting him to make the big plays Edwards made plus the routine plays that Edwards did not make. Wilkerson step up at DE, would like to see Kenrick Ellis eligible and contribute on the DL, and of course, Sanchez has to continue improving. Everything else is solid but those will be the differences in being a play off team vs being a Super Bowl team.

Your ludicrous, yet amusing examples aside, you are correct, The Pats have questions that have to yet to answer, but far fewer than they had in last season's "rebuilding year, ", while the Jets have more. BTW - I can be just as questioning about my team as well. But I don't think any Jet fans are really interested in my opinion on the Patriots....nor should they be. BUT if you want to know what I think, just ask me

When I go to an opposing team's site, I follow a few simple rules. I post only on 2 kinds of topics. Threads that relate to the Pats.....and occasionally on threads that could be called general football topics like an opinion on a rule change,etc.. I don't start threads. I don't use pejoratives like "the Jest", and talk down to the board membership... and I, for the most part, simply ignore the yahoos to tell me to GFY and die.

They may have less questions but they have a massive great new one that they didn't have last year, namely "How do we stop the Jets taking Brady and the OL apart like they did in the last competitive game we played?"

I'm not convinced that the answer to that question is found in Chad Johnson, Nate Solder and a bunch of second string running backs.

Your CB who couldn't fight his way onto the field last year will be 'tons better'? He won't see the field again this year with the return of Cro. Your two DL picks haven't even played in a preseason game yet and are already 'studs?'

And Jets fans think the Pats fans think too highly?

edit: Lol. "If you don't count the old guys we're young"

Shaun Ellis was part of that.

And people also reckoned that Ryan wouldn't be able to build a defence worth a shit without Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. You think no-one else can play DE in Ryan and Pettine's schemes but Shaun Ellis?

Well, the question was 'how do we stop the Jets from taking Brady and the OL apart ....'

I was thinking that the Pats signing Shaun Ellis could be part of the attempt to answer the question.

Personally I don't think will make much difference. I think it's more interesting that NE named Bill O'Brien the OC after going a couple of years without an OC.

Great so we settled it, Pats fans, the ones that oddly disappeared after Jan 16th 2011, no idea why, have come back to TGG.

They have come back to do us Jets fans such a great service and tell us the Jets wont be better than last year. Ok thanks, so much.

I can't wait for the lot of you to disappear January of 2012 as well..........Ok a few can stay..... very few

If that's the case then Darth Bill has a real problem, but I don't think he's so stupid as to think that taking Shaun Ellis out makes the whole defensive scheme fall apart.

Lol every year it is the same thing with a Rex Ryan defense. They said Ray Lewis is what makes that D go, when Rex was there. He had a top 10 D even when Ray Lewis was hurt. Then it was Ngata and Suggs that made that D and it was the same thing.

Fast Forward to now, the Jets lacked Revis for a stretch, Jenkins, Pace was injured and played terribly for long stretches, they had no depth on the DL, the QB of the secondary had a devastating injury and yet the defense was still a top 3 defense.

Now these jerk offs expect us to believe that because the Jets lost Shonn Ellis, a DLman, arguably the most easily replaceable position in a Rex Ryan defensive scheme, the Jets are going to collapse and be nowhere near as good, ok thanks.

I mean I suppose we can play that game as well looking at the Pats roster. Shit how many 14-2 teams improve the following year? Let me answer, none in the history of the NFL..........

spoken like a dude that disappeared Jan 17th..........lol

Anyway, he is in my opinion, the best defensive coach in the NFL but maybe this year will prove me wrong.

I think Shaun Ellis is quickly rising to Rob Gronkowski status in Patsland.
