Yah yah. Brees SD is a screwy team. Once he got out he did great right away. Favre had a 65% completion rate his first year. Phillip Rivers had 22 TDs and a 61% completion rate his first full year. Eli Manning is not a true franchise QB. Above average, maybe. Who knows, maybe Sanchez will be an exception. Time will tell.
If you look at all of them, they all spent a full four years in college, unlike Sanchez who left his junior year. Rodgers, who left after his junior year, spent 3 full seasons on the bench behind Favre. Taking that into account, Sanchez should hopefully make the jump to 60% this year. You doubting him is just the Gaytriot homer in you.
So Brees didn't become great til his 4th year, but you have an excuse for that and say its the fault of his "screwy team" Eli Manning, you have an excuse for that by saying he's not a franchise QB which is absolutely ridiculous, even though I don't like him. Favre throws 24 picks his 3rd year in the NFL (2nd as a starter) and you have a lame excuse for that. Just a typical jerkoff Jets/Sanchez hater.. whatever.
I expect numbers like 3650 yards, 60% completions, 22 td, 13 int this year from Sanchez.. he's going to take the next step. And I guess I can't really blame Pats fans for grasping at straws and trying to put down the Jets QB who just went into their house and kicked their ass in the playoffs. Besides, it means they don't have to talk about other stuff, like: Brady not being able to figure out the Jets defense Not winning a playoff game since 2007 Ochocinco not separating from a decent corner in 3 years Their nonexistent pass rush Their poor secondary Their bizarre draft The 2005 all star defensive line they built Rob Gronkowski's dick (oh nevermind, they like talking about that one..)
No more than 4 hotdogs a quarter Date Brunell's daughter Seriously Close to 60% completion rate 22 TDs 14 ints Keep developing his team leadership role making him a captain will put more pressure on Punch Schotty in the face twice this season
60%, 2 to 1 TD:Int ratio, to not look like a qb who should not have played D-1 football, let alone being an NFL qb, in the 1st 3 quarters of every game.
that would be a nice jump for him for sure... i do worry about increased picks forcing it to 1 guy if plax doesnt pan out.
I would like a completion percentage above 60%. If he does that than the numbers will follow. If he keeps winning, than the number can suck a big dick.
The fact is, if the team puts the game in his throwing abilities then your screwed...the jets have used a specific game plan to utilize Sanchez's limited skills and not allow him to be put into a position where he needs to carry the team. The defense is the smoke and mirrors that disguises Sanchez's throws.
Yes, Patriot fan. Keep telling yourself that. The fact is that, while our defense is great, it isn't so great that it can cover Sanchez's deficiencies against Playoff caliber teams as much as you claim. Sanchez's stats in the playoffs is more than enough proof to me that he has the ability to throw the ball. Shut up.
January 16, 2011. Mark Sanchez - 3 TDs, 0 INT, QBR 127.3 Tom Bastard - 2 TDs, 1 INT, QBR 89.0 We're quite happy with the development of our quarterback, thanks.
Same for your team. Just it's your entire defense that sucks hairy donkey balls instead of one guy doing it for you. (30th pass defense ring a bell for ya? Oh. Sanchez might be bad, but he's nowhere near 30th-in-the-league bad like your putrid pass defense.)
honestly i could care less if mark ever has pretty numbers. let us use smoke and mirrors or whatever you want to call it. Our team will punch your team in the mouth every time. You pathetic pats fans are so silly. toughness and good defense is equally as important if not more important than your pretty passing numbers. F*ck the pats. your window is closing and you know it, wit your pussy ass team.
Why bother he is a troll, he doesn't care. Show him something he may care about, pm him a youtube of a dude blowing another dude. You may get another friend.
It's good to watch again, but it makes me sad for two reasons: - We don't get to play against Jason Allen this season - It's such a shame Braylon's a dick
Those stats are the defense doing the work for Sanchez...if it comes down to a shoot out, Sanchez won't get the job done. Now you can defend him all you want but you'll see this season as your defense is not as it was. Rex built your team to win big during the last two seasons knowing that he couldn't keep it together for long and now that team is gone. It should be obvious to you when he challenges the rest of the NFL to beat the New England so his team can win the East...I'm not a Pat fan but it just seems odd that a coach asks for the rest of the leagues help in order for his team to win knowing that they beat that same team twice last year.
