New captains named

    Sanchez and Holmes for offense
    Revis and Pouha for defense
    Eric Smith for ST

    Pouha is an odd choice... I would have thought Pace or Scott would have been named captains. I'm sure neither of them care, but Scott just seems like more of a leader up front to me than Pouha. Either way, congrats to him... from backup to captain in the span of a year.

    Pouha is a great choice and he did a ton for the team during the lock out. I would guess that was a popular choice among the team.

    Team didn't vote, it was Rex's call. I like Pouha a lot, I think he's a big part of our D Line. I just thought it would be Bart Scott because of his vocal leadership and the fact he's in with Rex.

    Would be an honor to be named a captain of such a storied franchise. Didn't know they had Special Teams captains. I think Leonhard would make a better defensive captain than Pouha but my name is not Rex Ryan.

    Same here. I thought Mangold was a lock for sure. My only guess is Rex gave it to Holmes instead of Big Nick is to keep him happy. If Holmes doesn't get that C on his jersey who knows how Holmes reacts.
