With preseason starting Monday and most teams barely playing starters at all what players can we expect to get plenty of snaps, and give us something to pay attention to after the first drive when all of our starters likely get benched.

Can we expect Joe Mcknight, Westerman and Wilson to be out there often enough, or is monday mostly going to be guys buried on the depth chart out there ?

Same thing with our rookies, should we expect any of them to see extended playing time and who could provide the greatest impact this preseason ?

From the rookies this week, I'd expect to see McElroy, McKnight, Powell, and Ellis to see a lot of time.. they'll probably take it easy on Wilkerson and Kerley since those guys are expected to be big parts of the team and starters (Kerley as the return man and occasional slot guy), but as the post season progresses I'm sure we'll see plenty of them.

On defense we'll probably see a lot of guys like Westerman and Pitoitua Monday and all preseason long. Plus guys like Mauga, Bellore, McIntyre, Gilbert to see what they got in game action. On offense, I'm looking forward to seeing Joe McKnight, Cumberland, Turner and Payne.

Guys like RoPo and Westerman on D. Some fringe guys too like Gilbert. Wouldn't mind seeing Wilson matched up on a few different receivers over the preseason.

On offense, McKnight should get plenty of time. Powell too. And run some plays with the Terminator destroying people.

    Oh, and Vlad at tackle!

I haven't heard about another FB. They signed Cordarol Scales, but he's correctly listed as a WR now.

Of course, he is just there to play after they take the starters out in the games and run with the second and third team during practices. No chance he makes the team.

Besides the rookies, it'll be interesting to see a see some of the 2nd year guys that didn't get a lot of snaps- McKnight should get a lot of carries.

I am interested in the linebackers--can anyone rush the passer or go back in pass coverage? Last year our linebackers flat out could not cover anyone.

Also like many of you I want to see what any of our def backs not named Revis or Cro can do-----Wilson and or anyone else stepping up would be huge-----ps our Saftety depth? I hope Leonard is 110 percent ready!
