To be fair, given the conversation was about free agents, Housh was the first one who jumped to my mind. I thought about Thomas Jones as I read it, but Housh is certainly the most prominent FA who goes by that name.

His point was that he didn't start 16. Of course, with the way that they heavily utilized 3 safeties last season, it's not too surprising that Grant had that many tackles as he was in the box more often than not. I actually would expect him to have MORE sacks given how often he rushed, too. Drew Coleman destroyed him as a pass rushing DB on, I'd imagine, fewer rushes.

His point was that Grant put up good numbers without starting a game and that's not true.

Ah. I could have misread that. I thought "he didn't even start every game" meant anything less than 16, which I thought was funny. I prefer your interpretation. It's easy to say Grant wasn't a starter, but he was essentially getting a starter's playing time all season. They ran 3 safeties out very heavily to cover up their LB problems. That's why all 3 were among the leading tacklers last season for the Giants.

EDIT: Just looked it up. Yeah, never good when 3 of your top 5 tacklers are in your defensive backfield.

This is exactly why I wanted no part of Donte Whitner. Inflated stats....been overrated his whole career.

Yet even your buddy IgnatiusJReilly knew who I was talking about. Seems like

you're the mental midget that doesn't get it.

Noooo...you didn't read it because it involves football. Other people seemed

    to understand it just fine.

No u dick donut, I was saying that he didn't start all 16 games. Once again,

people got what I'm saying, including IgnatiusJReilly. Thus, your lame attempt

at an embarassing rebuttal, once again, failed.

Let's see...Darren Sharper is a potential HOF safety and Deon Grant's career

clearly trumps any of our safeties. I'm not saying we're stupid for not signing

them. I'm just saying I'm not stupid for suggesting we do.

IgnatiusJReilly's argument about the Giants scheme is a very valid point.

However, even if you take Grant's production on the Seahawks, Jaguars and

Panthers...he still looks better than our safeties. The highlight of Eric Smith's

career is an illegal hit on Anquan Boldin.

Wow. Did the great Mr. Garrison make an error? I think you meant knows. Not

    no.lol

You're right! The fact that you NEVER talk football means: "I don't know my

shit."The fact that your friends have to chime in with info, because you can't

successfully debate sports, further proves that point.See...we agreed

on something! Admit it. You're one of those ppl who goes on Youtube,

making comments like "LeBron traveled" or "Justin Beiber is gay...thumbs up if

you agree." Or my personal favorite "12 ppl clicked dislike because they

    thought it said dis-i-like."

No, you just proved that one of us has a job and shit 2 do. We both work

at schools but I work at a major University that requires me to do important

things on my computer. You work at South Park elementary and use your

computer to download gay puppet porn....oh and spell check on football

sites. I come on here when I'm bored. That said, don't think we don't

    appreciate you Mr Garrison.

Did I really make you mad? Did you really try to get me banned? Ed

Lover: "C'mon son!"Let me stop before you try to track me down while making

a bomb in your dad's garage or something.

In all seriousness, I'm done. You win! I admit I was having a little fun going

back and forth with the jokes. I really just wanted to say that it's ok to

disagree with someone's opinions. However, this is a sports site. If you are

going to go out your way to do so, make it sports related. The name calling

is a bit unwarranted. I apologize to the fellow posters and the mod as I'm

sure it's become a bit overbearing. I know I was being a jerk but it was all in

fun. I'm going to chill from now on lol Besides, a fellow longtime poster of

yours made me aware that this is typical of you. You apparently form

cliques and attack the new contributors. Unfortunately for you,you picked

the wrong guy lol. Back to football though. From now on. I'm looking forward

to seeing what Plax has left and Jerry-Kerl (kudos to you guys for putting me

on to that one lol one of the coolest nicknames ever!). I'm also especially

looking forward to seeing our rookie D linemen. I hope these guys are the

monsters they looked like on film."Can't Wait" J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS

    Really?
Refresh me, how long exactly have you been watching Jets games?
Smith had his best season yet last year. When #36 went down Smithy stepped up to the job and did it very very well.
AS for for illegal hit jibe, yes he got fined for it, but pretty much everyone knows there wasn't a thing he could have done about it.

The fact that Mr. E didn't feel you were worth a serious response doesn't mean he doesn't know football. He's one of the more knowledgeable posters on this site, especially when it comes to the college game and the draft.

Got a question, well a few in one.....

Dick doughnut? I am assuming you spelled doughnut wrong, which is pretty reasonable looking at your grammar, sentence and paragraph structure and your propensity to forget there is an invention called spell check.

Is that a doughnut made out dicks, is that a ring of pastry you put around your dick, is this Richard Doughnut's nickname, Did you find out Mr. E's real name?

Such an intriguing thing, this dick doughnut
