Since Tank doesn't believe callers who relay the reports about which players took less money to play for the Jets, he should ask Tanny.
the quote on your profile.. he couldn't possibly have said that, did he? It's the exact opposite of what I've read from him the past few weeks. This Tannenbaum interview is going pretty much exactly how I expected. The Rex one is going to be gold though.
I haven't heard him address the "slam dunk" of da raiduhs cohnah signin wit houston. He said that about a million times when free agency began.
Nice -- Tanny mentioning the depth and rotation about the DL (because Tank won't let go of the Ellis release), which is something that everyone outside of Jets fans fail to see.
I usually stay out of dog fights, but you need to be addressed. If you dislike the insults, then stop posting half truths or incorrect news on this website. Regardless of what Revis or anyone else says, if you took the time to read up on the stats, then you should take the time to read the analysis on the same subject. Revis may not have had dominating stats, but he was technically better for the last 8 games of the season. Those that analyze football for a living take out the hammy and holdout issues and look at a more realistic body of work from the players - in this case Revis. So from a true analysts perspective, Revis was better in 2010 than in 2009. Although the stats may contradict that, proper, educated analysis, refutes it. Apparently you neither analyzed or educated yourself on the subject. That being said, if 10 people are arguing your point and no one comes to your defense, maybe your information is incorrect. Try thinking or reading before posting. And most of all, stop injecting your emotions into your conversations. The NFL is an emotionless business.
nyjunc politely requested this thread be kept football-related. If you hooligans can't refrain from berating #28Martin, I will request this thread be locked. Haha! He said it again!
Tank asked Tanny if he was bothered by anything he's said about the Jets in the past few years. Tanny said no, that he respected what Mike does and that everybody is entitled to their opinion. Hmmmm.
Tanny should have said "No, to be quite honest nobody here really pays attention to what you say, it has no bearing on what we do."
First talked about how Tannenbaum's personality as changed with Rex coming to the Jets. Then about how they planned this off-season to get Holmes first,,, then a corner. Then, Francesa brought up Rex's predictions and Tannenbaum said he'll keep the predictions to Rex. That the Jets might do something the closer we get to the season, but as of right now, they seem set. Sanchez has to be more consistent Tannenbaum said,,, Francesa said he's just in his 3rd season. Then Francesa asked if he thought anything he said in the past was unfair to the Jets and Tannenbaum said no,, that he had the right to his opinion.
I hope Rex doesn't take the safe road that Tannenbaum took. I think he'll be humorous about it and give Fatty a few digs. He's waiting for Yes to be available before interviewing Rex.
He's gonna have Rex, Westhoff, Sanchez and Revis coming up... They all love Westhoff, I don't know why I find him boring.
