I haven't gotten any confirmation that this number is permanent. I only bring that up because one of the beat writers said after talking with Rex Kerley will be wearing #11 for now.

    He is number 11 now.

Now we need to mass tweet and get him known as Jeri-Kerl.

It was his high school baseball number, he will probably keep it.

Not too sure about Kerley's quickness or hands but one thing that I've noticed in his tape is he has great field vision and is very smart in gaining positive yardage. He never takes the extra step or dances too much to break a tackle. Makes a move and goes forward, which is good to see if he's going in the slot.

The great thing is, with Mason here, there is little pressure on him. If he's got a significant role, it's because he's earned it, and we'll be better for it.

I don't see where he fits. Tone, Plax, and Mase are definitely ahead of him. I can see him as the designated return man, but with regard to WR, it'll be awfully tough for him to crack the top three.

If he as good as advertised he will work himself onto the field in a rotation or specific sub packages.

Players get tired. Not to mention 2 main pieces of our receiving core are eligible for AARP. If Plaxico and Mason are healthy and fit enough to play an entire game ALL SEASON, then Kerley playing is a moot point.@ the very least,he'll be called upon to try and replace Brad Smith.

I wouldn't worry about that, considering we saw in the playoffs the past two years how much havoc a four receiver attack can cause.

Do you know how many games Mason has missed in his career?

Because if you did then you wouldn't bring that up. Plax is in great shape now, but his football shape needs work. He'll be brought in slowly. But I too question Plax's ability because he's been out of football for 2 years and he's 33. But Mason is so consistent, we should all be very happy he's here.

That's only if you have Aaron Rodgers.

I was referring to Plax...not Mason. Mason is always in gr8 shape...that being said...he is 37.I think Kerley will find time being that our #2 receiver has been making license plates and doing dips on the bottom bunk for the last 2 years.

I think we should convert to a quick passing, quasi-West Coast offense in terms of the passing game.I want us to run first but I'd like to see us use more slants and quick throws early in series.I feel like we relied too much on Braylon,Keller and Holmes bailing us out on 3rd down with big plays.Kerely and possibly McKnight could flourish with this approach

#Jets rookie WR Jeremy Kerley catches everything in sight.

    Keeps on impressing.

The Kerley hype reminds me a lot of the Chansi Stuckey reports from his first camp before his injury. It actually seems like Kerley is even being more positively reviewed than Stuckey. Seems like he has a good chance of developing into a solid slot WR. I'm excited to see him in preseason

I want to see him do it after getting drilled over the middle.

If he had alligator arms over the middle, one of our draft gurus would have pointed it out after he was drafted.
