If he wants a career in commentating than he has to not show bias. I have no problem with this if he honestly feels that way. You know he wants us to win tho. It's just like when we predict the win/loss of our schedule. None of us want us to lose any games we just predict that they will.
All but the most brazen experts should be falling right into line to predict New England to win the AFC East. Unsurprising development if you ask me.
Tell that to Lou Holtz. The guy says Notre Dame will go undefeated and win the Championship every year.
Ex-Players will never succeed in the broadcasting business if they're homers. If they are then their career in television won't last very long. The entire country already has the Eagles winning the SB for the next 3 years, it's a good thing we actually have to play these games now.
When we walked off the field in January we were probably dead even. The Pats made moves that made them better. We made moves that made us worse. At this moment they're the favorites. We'll see what happens on the field.
The one move that isn't news-breaking is Sanchez making a huge leap forward this year. Fat Albert doesn't worry me at all, and Ocho might as well sit when they play us. Just like Rex said, we can't be the only team that beats them.
Watching Jenkins on SportsNation (Love me some Michelle Beadle). He's naturally charismatic and very funny. Dude has some serious potential to be a solid, entertaining TV personality.
Speaking of which...I hear Mathew Barnaby is tapping that. What is it with blonde chicks and hockey players?
Not to mention the fact that the Pats have won it 7 out of the 8 last years. Look at it this way. The first time the Jets win it will be very sweet for their fans.
(1) Ultimately, who cares what any of these guys thinks. (2) The only way anyone can pick the Jets is if they are absolutely positive that Sanchez is going to become a top 10 QB this year (even then it's not clear the Jets will win the division, but without that IMO there is no chance), and why should anyone be positive of that? I will be very surprised if (barring injury to Brady) the Patriots don't win 12+ games this year, so that's what it's going to take.
this just in----the Pats are good. As long as Brady and Billy Boy are there they will always be stronger contenders. THEY WERE 14-2 last year when most people picked them to regress and only pull off 8 or 9 victories. Id pick them to win it too...
