He probably is just looking at the fatasses on both teams. NE has bigger lardo's on the DL then the Jets. He probably is making his statement off this.
I saw the clip online.. I didn't see him actually make a pick though.. he just praised both the Jets and Pats from what I saw. Also talked about what makes Rex so great. And honestly, can't really blame him for going with the team with Brady that went 14-2 last year. Until the Jets knock them off and win the division, the Pats will be the favorites, as much as it sucks.
And Teddy Bruschi has always sang praise about the Jets, when they become analysts they have to forget their colours and try to be objective. Chill out.
Well they have been fairly consistent in winning it the past 10 years or so. At this point I know the Jets can win on the road or at home in the playoffs, I'm more concerned about getting over the AFCCG hump than regular season standings.
wow.. really? let's assume i'm a retired player, and i still would like to earn nice income. analyst sounds good. so how do i be a good analyst? by always picking my former team of course! seriously some of you need fucking bipolar meds. pats had what kind of record last year? and who did they lose? and they had no major FA signings right? ok, yeah that's totally a bad call. pats own the AFCE until we knock them off of it. end.of.story.
i dont even consider jenkins a jet... he was just a guy on the sideline that hung out and happened to wear green... and if he becomes nearly as annoying as warren sapp is on nfl network im gonna really begin to hate him
hes probably looking at the fact they have a HOF QB and Coach, didnt lose anyone and only added more talent.
LOL, who cares? How are we the favorites when we haven't been able to win the division in years? It doesn't matter to me what people say about us, as long as we make and win the Super Bowl.
Until we win the Division consistently, I don't see anything wrong with what he said. It was sweet beating them in the Playoffs last season, but we need to win the Division first and foremost. New England will always be the team to beat in the AFC East.
