@JennyVrentas: Cotchery: "Last year, I just had a tough deal, a tough deal with a lot of things. I don't want to get into specifics." #nyj @JennyVrentas: Cotchery did share feelings with some: "I don't want to say which coaches, but I have shared it. A lot of ppl didn't see it that way." #nyj Sounds like Cotch didn't want to be here either.
This ... i understand its a business, but this brings to mind S. Ellis possibly playing somewhere else. Certain players grow on you as a fan ... over the years they become your guys. Mason brings alot to the table, and very well could be better for the Jets. Doesn't take the sting outa losing a player you have grown acustomed to cheering for. Just let him play in the NFC somewhere.
San Diego makes a ton of sense. They need a receiver after losing Floyd, and Cotch has that NC State connection with Rivers.
uh oh how will the great Chad Henne deal with such knowledge. i hate the fact the phins got Burnett though god damnit
Maybe he felt slighted about becoming the #3? I dunno. For Cotch to be unhappy as a jet makes me unhappy. He's one guy that shouldn't be upset about being here. Oh well. let's get a pick for him.
The NC State connection is bullshit- they haven't played together in nearly 10 years. A long time has passed, he won't be "on the same page" with Rivers anymore than he would with another QB on a different team.
Sweet Jesus........I challenge someone to find anything gayer on this board in the last 3 years. I will give you 2 hours to find it. Your time begins.............NOW
Now that I've calmed down a bit...I still do not agree with this decision, but I am hoping Derrick Mason will help us win a championship and will root for him accordingly. Goodbye Cotchery...
Plaxico already hurt and he hasn't even began real football training... HA! I hate being right on these things... and don't bring out the "shit happens" excuse... while it's true we are putting ourself in a situation where shit is more likely to happen...
