The first two days of free agency all you could tell us was that re-signing holmes was a bad idea because he would be too expensive. I would go back and see what your actual opinions were about all the other signings before they happened but I don't have any advil in the house. You have been whining about Ellis getting disrespected because the Jets are offering him a deal that makes sense for them. If Ellis doesn't like it he can come back with a counter offer or tell the Jets to go kick rocks while he rolls up a fat blunt and enjoys retirement.

i dont think there ignoring it i just think they dont see anyone out there worth the money itd take to get them if there was a top notch pass rusher out there i think we would have pursued them but i dont think the jets want to sign a guy like matt roth or lawson who are average at best and not better then who the jets currently have on the roster

minimum deal at best for him he is a fiery guy and plays well on special teams but he is easily replaceable especially with mike westhoff still around
Not to mention his constant Braylon Edwards bitching. I was a huge Edwards fan, but after we signed Holmes I accepted that salary caps exist and that we needed other positions. That idiot was still posting for a big contact for Edwards after it was revealed that he was directly involved in the bar fight. He just bitches for the sake of bitching.
I didn't say it was a bad idea. I said he was a must sign. What I did say was that I wasn't a fan of him breaking the bank and ruining them cap wise. And he didn't ..... I don't like all that money spent on a WR.... Holmes had to be re-signed.
