No one's going to trade for a receiver on the PUP list that we don't even consider worth starting over a receiver that's been in prison for two years.

This just means we can have 2 other people into camp right? This isn't the one that keeps them out of X amount of games right? Don't remember the rules for this off top of head.

Doesn't really mean too much. Peyton Manning is on the PUP list as well.

As long as they come off before the start of the season (First game), they won't miss any.

How can you trade somebody on the PUP list? If we were really looking at trading Cotch to begin with.

"A player who begins the regular season on the PUP list must sit out his team's first six games. After that point, a team has three weeks to start having the player practice; once the player begins practicing, the team has another three weeks to put the player on the active roster. If the player is not activated by that time, or if he does not begin practicing within that three week window, he must remain on the PUP list for the remainder of the season"

Curtis Martin was on the PUP list during his last season before retirement....but as we all know he was never activated and remained on the pup list the entire season.

I have no clue why we would be shopping around Cotchery while he is on the PUP list, thats like selling a broken down car.....

Cotchery was cleared by his own doctors to practice two weeks ago. So this is just precautionary.
