Odd that he didn't die of a heart attack or diabetes. Either way, RIP.

After a long day at the pool, sippin' beerz in the sun, I had one thing on my mind -- Burgin'.

The feeling came on strong and sudden, the burgin' was so powerful that I could have date raped The Hamburglar!

So I put together an Epic Vandross inspired Burg.

    TGG, I give you . . .

    THE SCRUGGY

That's a quarter pound beef patty, stuffed with bacon and cheddar. Topped with pepper-jack cheese, sliced jalapano and habaneros, and more bacon and Extra-Spicy mayo. And of course, a grilled Krispy Kreme doughnut in lieu of a bun. MMMMMMMM, it tasted like burning! The jack cheese, sauce, and jalapanos gave a quick burn, while the habaneros provided a slower burn. It was orgazmically good with the sweetness of the doughnut and the greasy bacony burg goodness! Needless to say, I had a nocturnal bout of painful diarrhea -- but it was SOOOO worth it!

    5/5!!!!!!

I had fun making the sauce: Mayo based, with a touch of St. Augustine's Snake Bite hot sauce, and some Texas Pete. Then I mixed in some Tony's Cajun seasoning. Niceeeee

    Thank You.

It really was a colorful Burg'. Those little orange bits are the habanero. I was going to put lettuce and tomato on it, but ran out of tomatoes the day before. So, I couldn't just put lonely lettuce on there. I think it worked out well in the end.

Well then you get a pass. I'd still devour it....

This thread reminds me of Man vs. Food. They are starting back up on June 1. That show should bring out the inner fatty in everyone. So much win in that show....

Bless me Scruggy for I have sinned.

It has been many weeks since my last burg.

Now I covet my fellow TGGers new BBQ, with it's fancy shiny knobs and internal lights. I can only dream about how good it would be to burg on that baby.

    What is my penance?

Thou must consume 3 Baconators whilst watching The Food Network, and 4 Big Macs whilst in the bathtub. Do this, and your Burgternal Soul shall once again be clean.

In the name of McDonald, Carl's Jr., and the Hottest Ghost Pepper.

    Burgin'.

Montreal is a quality seasoning. I always use it in the marinating/grilling process. So much so, that I had to step it up to the larger bottle. Or "Institutional Size"

    hahaha. CROM!!
That's the exact brand and size we have. I was just throwing that shit on the grill with reckless abandon Saturday night.

If any of you go to any of the tailgates, I do not fuck around when I marinate a steak. Very simple: red wine, A-1, low sodium soy sauce and the Montreal seasoning. Let it sit for a minimum of 24 hours.
    /Always a winner

What are you cooking, a fucking catcher's mitt? No half decent cut of beef should require that kind of treatment.
