Seriously? The guy was a great receiver. His ability to change speeds in order to catch the ball was amazing.
A couple good seasons? He scored 10 TDs or more in 9 seasons and averaged over 15 yards a catch. Sure, last year he was awful but you can't overlook his Vikings years and his other Patriots years.
when teams would rather pursue and ex-con who may or may not be able to run on his bullet-holed leg than you, that's a pretty good indicator you aren't wanted anymore.
A couple of good season? We have a fan base thats so concerned with a guy like Edwards leaving, yet his best season to date does not match Randy's rookie year. His 7 years in Minny were filled with nothing but greatness on the feild. His totals are amazing.... Ten years over 1,000 yards, 6 of those over 1300. Nine years in double digit receiving TD's, including an NFL record 23 in one year. Just shy of 15,000 career yards and over 150 TD's. Moss was great for a long time on the football feild. Off it he was a mess and ran him self off of more than one team, but to call his career anything but HOF worthy is a joke and a bad one.
One of the All-time great receivers who ultimately under-acheived. He could have been better than Rice but was too often acting like a jack-ass instead.
