So is Sanchez going to restucture?

I love MY QB and all but that is a lot of money for his services. Dont hate. I have all the faith in the world for the kid. But we need some money.

I changed my avatar since I'm in a better mood...

Also, I guess it's a good deal with Cromartie so I'll take back my comment on Tanny, now he needs to get us our safety.... Nope never completely happy

I keep seeing people asking for a saftey. Is there one in the cfl we can sign? Because I don't think there's any available in the NFL.

Best available UFA that could fit our team and fill holes

    FS Available:
James Ihedigbo (One of my favorite backups.)
Abram Elam (Liked when he was here and he did pretty good in Cleveland.)

SS Available: (Priority area on defense now that Cromartie signed.)
Brodney Pool (He knows our system and was reliable.)
Bernard Pollard (111 tackles, 4 FF, 2.5 sackles...good stats, great size)

    LB/DE 3-4
Manny Lawson (Solid depth guy, 3-4 experience and may thrive under Rex.)

    TE
Zach Miller (Young, big pass catching machine.)

This list keeps getting smaller as UFA are signed

Brodney Pool or Bernard Pollard both play SS and we do need one. Abram Elam played FS but could move to SS.

I doubt you'll see any more movement from us until Harris gets his deal worked out, if at all.

Signing Harris to a long contract could free up $4-5M. More than enough to a player or two of that list.

Get a safety and then resign Ellis for a year or two would be fine.

Ellis could come back under the vet exemption. If there's that much money left after Harris's deal, you may well see someone get money pulled forward to ease the future cap strain.

Elam or Pool would be my next target, if Lawson were out of our price range.

I'd love to see us sign kevin boss, and then make trade for a strong safety.

Buchanon sucks....the dude has been 3-4 teams I think. Can't play DB..ihis worth is as KR-PR.

By the way..what's the Jets depth look like at WR? Holmes..Burress..Cotchery? Who else...?

Since Cotch is coming off back surgery...and Burress is coming back...from prision. I wonder if Jets would still consider Moss if he dropped his price.

By the way..Manny Lawson a poor man's Vernon Gholston. Not as big bust..but still a bust nevertheless.

I would have liked to see them go after Daniel Graham, because he is a monster blocker. But Graham signed with the Titans.
