I understand the desire for organization but virtually every new thread posted here in the past week has someone calling out its purpose/necessity within the first five posts.

It's very irritating. We want a clean, organized board for people to share their thoughts, opinions, and news, but we don't want people to fear ridicule every time they press "Submit New Thread" either.

If you really think a thread has to go, report it. We will look at it. Otherwise, lay off.

    Thank you,
    The Management

And a warning: Any sarcastic calling out of THIS thread will be harshly punished!

Do we really need a new thread on this?

Also, I think Pat the Patriot is the coolest mascot in sports.

Works for me now, gamedays after a loss...Every whiny, bitchy thread should be tossed immediately. But new news and different discussions need new threads.

... .for what it's worth, can you also make a request that the entire message board be policed by the moderators and only the moderators? There is a reporting process already in place. It's not just the new threads.

I should also make a comment that proper written grammar and spelling (though you're lazy if you don't spell check) is not the primary determinant of someone's intelligence, and the value of their posts.

I know plenty of smart, hard-working, blue collar guys who make six figures but can't type to save their lives.

as one that uses ellipses and commas to cadence the written word as real speech, I can also say, THERE IS NO COMMA IN "SHUT UP C*NT."

Using that comma, is a bannable offense imho.

    (Soss, no comma...!, humour disclaimer)

Can we still insult them as long as we don't tell them their post is not needed?

yeah but that's the mods job to worry about. i can't stand mini mods who love to post every single little rule and nitpick off stuff the real mods usually would care less about.

Just like the other person that tried to prove me wrong, this is correct either way.

If I am describing how it's written, it's an adverb -- properly.

If I am describing grammar, it's an adjective -- proper.
