they report today, but players who were FA's can't report till aug 4.

So holmes can't show up till aug 4 despite resigning to a new deal. Strickland, who was on another team, also can't show up till aug 4.

New function of the CBA. The guys who were under contract can certainly show up today, but nobody who just inked a new deal. I'm not even sure if rooks can report today, I would think so, but don't know for sure.

Noel devine has been released from the eagles would love to see him as our new kick off returner now that B Smith is gone . He is crazy small but he was a productive player in college , a poor mans Darren Spores . Would be cheap guy to take a flyer on . What do you guys think ?

I know that but he's a running back , if anything could be a practice squad player . All I'm saying is that he deserves a look

Being cut after 2 days would make it seem like he doesn't deserve a look.

Yea I'm sure it was for his play on the field , nothing to do with the fact they signed like 8 free agents . I mean that one day of practice with no pads on says so much about a player ability. Your right

Lombardi just said Pittsburg and the Jets for Plax, decision likely today. Davis and the Jets for Cro.

We signed Plax for 3 mill guaranteed 1 yr. Don't like it... money would be better spent elsewhere... also bye bye Edwards I'm guessing. Don't like this move Tanny.

Awesome! Guy caught the game winning touchdown to ruin the Patriots perfect season. Thats all I need to know. :)

That's not true. Players who were FAs can report immediately and take part in team meetings and film work. They just can't hit the practice field until Thursday.

He was traded. Ditto for Haynesworth. The rules are only for FAs.

So with Plax in hand, do the Jets have the money to sign Cro, Heap and Lawson? I could live with that heading into camp.

Cromartie, Heap, and Lawson would make me a very happy Jets fan.

Lombardi reporting Raiders may be poised to overpay Cro to get him. That will suck.

He also says no markey for Braylon. Even with Plax in fold I still wouldn't mind seeing Braylon back.

If Braylon will sign for around 5-6 mill somewhere I think we'll have mad a mistake to sign Burress... time will tell...
If Cro wants to go and play for the Chokers fuck him...

I'm surprise by the lack of interest in guys like Lawson, Roth, Rogers, etc
