Not sure I understand this (I know this hardly worth it's own thread, but I didn't know where else to put it).

So, we have two major holes in our lineup, but we are better prepared to win the SB? I wonder if a bunch of $$$ went down on the Jets this week based on the Aso speculation.

It just went from 10-1 to 6-1 according to MGM.

Lines move cause of money as much as signings, I would guess the Jets got a lot of action at 11-1 (not terrible odds for a team that was in the AFCCG last year) so they adjusted the line. Also Holmes resigned

People probably dropped $$ on them when they signed Holmes and were rumored to be the favorites for Aso.

If we don't at least sign Cro (I'm assuming we don't sign Edwards), I'd expect us to drop significantly soon.

Aso signed with Philly, because of Mike Vick. Period. It;s a black thing. Nnamdi, apparently, sees it a little differently than Vegas.

    25m over 5...?

Nnamdi is just as racially motivated as David fucking Duke.

I love Vick. and support him...But to claim Philly has a clearer shot to a ring, and sign for 5m when you can play with the best guy in the game an be the best since Mike Haynes and Lester Hayes.

This was a Race thing. And No one has the balls to call him on it.

The world is not coming to an end because we didn't sign Aso .... Jets should still be a top contender.

Definitely true, as clearly proven by this photo of him doing a black power salute

Aren't most of the players on an NFL team black guys? So...what? I don't know what motivated him, but anywhere he went, its not like he wouldn't be surrounded by more black guys than a JonnyD wet dream.

Partially. But Vick is still a better QB than Sanchez...soooo...

I dunno, I'm guessing he's just trolling? Guess he's referring to Sanchez alone.
Either way, Eric Smith resigned so I think Aso might request a trade here.

Whether it's a black thing or not, I can give a flying fuck. It's his money and his right and America is a free country.

I have to believe Vick played a significant part of his decision.

That said, the way Vick plays he is going to get killed and kill the Eagles plans. I would not feel comfortable with him as my starter for 16 games. I just feel that he isn't stout enough to play a 16 game season as reckless as he does.

I agree wholeheartedly. Vick is constantly getting beat down every single game, I don't know how anyone can feel confident about having him as a starter with the way he's constantly throwing his body around.

Also, even with the addition of Nnamdi to the Eagles defense, their defense is still going to suck and I feel confident saying that we'll finish with a top 3 defense and a top 10 offense. Oh well, his loss really.

I totally disagree with your assessment, but to each their own... But I will say this much, I understand this from Aso's POV

#1 Less pressure in Philly , if they don't win "it is what it is", there is no assumption he would be the reason they lost. As he could be in NY if he were grossly outplayed by Revis.

#2 The Eagles do have a "better" shot to win the Super Bowl.... Easier road is a given playing in a weaker division and being in the NFC I would much rather play in the NFC playoffs than the AFC playoffs, but maybe that is just me.

    Really...the race card...really?

    Aso clearly hates mexicans.

Nnamdi isn't stupid. The Eagles have a better chance to win their division than the Jets. He would have went to the Jets and the Jets would have had to give up players to fit him in. Others would have to take paycuts. He goes to Philly and an already good team signed even more players, more draft picks, and didn't make sacrifices to do it.

We've lost our #2 receiver who's a big part of our O and it doesn't look like where signing are #2 Corner. Where not as good as last season on paper, at least as of now.
