The Jets needed to eat some Crow!

    I think this Jet team was maybe getting a bit full of themselves. Two championship games in a row. Rex Ryans book. I think maybe the Jets thought just because they went after Asomugha that he would automatically want to be a Jet - well apparently that was'nt the case. I think not getting him is by far better for this team. If the Jets landed Aso they would of declared themselves superbowl champions before the season even started - and we all know how that would of ended. Every player out there is'nt standing in line to play for Rex. There are other good coaches out there.
    Now maybe the Jets go into this season with something to prove - they did'nt get their guy but lets win it all anyway attitude. Now maybe the Jets improve with some depth in needed areas. Now maybe the Jets are not the target of every single team out there. Maybe the Jets are now not the favorites to win it all so maybe they can sneak up on a few teams. Somehow I think some good will come out of not signing Asomugha.

    I think a lot of good will come out of not signing Aso but that is all I have to add.

    I just hope we can get Cro signed along with a quality receiver.

    Really wish we had not wasted time on Aso and had instead signed Landry, Cro, and a receiver.

    Hard to see my phone while I'm sitting on the beach here in RI.

    I think the Jets are FAR more knowledgable then you in what's best for this team.

    Going after Aso was a smart move, but not at the price the Iggles paid. At least he's not in our division.

    Going forward we need to get Cro back at a decent price and go after some pass rushers.

    holy shit, of all the syphilis equivalent posts and threads about Aso, this is easily the worst of them all.

    because the Jets pursued a free agent that they didn't get it means the Jets automatically assumed the player was going to race to be part of the team? mother fucker, the sheer stupidity.
