Because Revis held out and wasn't Revis last year. He missed a number of games and never really was 100%. In fact, Cro bailed us out many times last year covering the other team's #1 guy while Revis was limping around on his hammy. Add in losing Jenkins for the whole year and that defense was somewhat patch work.
if you need to hear it from woody or mike T themselves, you'll need to wait. i tend to believe manish, NFL network, and the DN
I'm beginning to think Tanny has contracted Shotty's disease. That is:Too Cute for his own good-itis.. How do you not reward the loyalty?
Ahh thanks. Unless they got this via "sources" ala Manish. If this is indeed the case, it sucks. However, I trust the front office. No one saw us getting Holmes for a 5th rounder last year. Tanny knows what he's doing.
ah dude, off of one failed trade and a denial to Braylon? Something has to be in the works. I'm with Mangoldforpresident on this one. Tanny has a curveball and we're going to make more Deal With It gif in honor of him.
Jenkins is just like his bro....too injury prone. wouldn't do good on our turf too. for the money he'd demand he'd better be able to go a full season & I highly doubt that.
There was something going on for a while with the Jets and Edwards. Remember, Holmes got a tender before the lock out and before it was know that free agency would be available to 4 year players. The Jets did not tender Edwards even though he was saying he wanted to be back.
Well, with all the B-list talent available Mick, if Tanny pulls off anything worthwhile, I'll be first in line for a plate of BBQ'd crow. We'll see if indeed, there is something in the works cause I'd like to think Tanny always has a plan B and we still don't have a bonifide pass rusher.
Why make Sanchez form a connection with a new receiver in a ridiculously shortened offseason? Now he has 4 weeks to gel with someone new instead of someone that he actually worked out with this offseason. We will see what happens, but I am not happy right now. On a side note, Manish has already tweeted several times that the reason Nnamdi chose the Eagles over the Jets was he believed the Eagles has a better shot at the SB. We get it, no need to repeat yourself
Bringing in Randy Moss would be about the only thing that could shake my confidence in the FO/Rex at this point in the season. People are counting on the fact that the Jets are so awesome and good and fun to play for that Moss will suddenly care again and be able to return to form. Pretty much all the reasons people gave for why Aso would end up here. In addition to that, who is there on the offensive side of the ball, on the field or on the coaching staff that Moss would "respect" or listen to or be inspired to play for?
