I agree with this also, not to mention all the times he got toasted and looked like he was on roller skates trying to cover guys.

He is a really great cover guy against large, one cut, jump ball WR's that try to use their size and height. But getting physical jamming guys at the line and covering quick, shifty guys.. not so much.

Asante plays off man coverage and gambles, often loosing out. He doesn't fit the BnR scheme that Rex runs.

Anyone that thinks otherwise needs to get their brains checked out.

    No thank you.

Samuel puts up stats but I don't want him on this team.

We simply overplayed our hand...it was worth the gamble as it appears we were right there but them are the facts.

Bring Edwards and Cro back...NOW! People are losing their mind over us losing out on Aso...DID THIS TEAM NOT MAKE IT TO WITHIN A GAME OF THE SB? What's changed other than hopefully we get those two guys back, Sanchez and Green will improve some more.

Let's go...no crying! If our management has any brains (I think they do) they will have a backup plan in place ready to execute.

Yep. It's really no one's fault. We tried to land the guy but he chose the Eagles. Big Deal. The way I look at it is, before a few days ago, I never even seriously considered the possibility of the Jets being able to sign Nnamdi. I thought there would be teams with far more cap space who would blow us out of the water. I am only disappointed now because we got our hopes up over the past few nights.

    think positive
    1) we opened up more cap space
    2) we all have faith in Tanny
    3) we all have faith in our coach
    4) we didn't tie up another 10-12 mil in a CB
    5) Tanny will sign several Rex type players
