Per source, there's a "very good chance" the Jets bring back Brunell at a lesser price. Clearing cap space for Nnamdi... #nyj

Brunell was cut so that means ASO is coming and they had to clear cap asap. Brunell will be brought back at a lower salary, he hsa to be. No Rick Mirer situations thank you very much

Nnamdi has no regard for Brunell or Brad Smith!

    <----See my screen name.

Brunell will come back if the Jets offer him the minimum. Sadly, he can't turn down the money.

In any case, I'm not convinced that McElroy/O'Connell are much worse than Old Man Brunell at this point. There's something to be said for a guy who's seen and done it all like Brunell, but I just don't believe that the physical tools are still there.

Clearly a move to clear cap space for Peyton Manning and Chad Pennington.

You don't need to be officially under until August 4th, you don't need to clear it ASAP.

Guys - if you were a fan in '99, you know the criticality of a backup with game and leadership experience.

Dear Supreme Being, May releasing Brunell be a sign of final preparations to sign Scrabble.
