Well, that graph, structured properly would read: Blue line...What you think Texans will do this year. Red Line...what really happens. Yellow. still the same.
Let me just mention a couple things here.... try to stir the pot a bit. Is everything right now worth attempting to get Asomugha? We have lost Brad Smith (albeit not a season changing loss... or is it?), and are possibly on the verge of losing Edwards/Cro. If Asomugha does not wind up signing with us and we cant reach a deal with Edwards/Cro, where are we at? Joseph? That is all well and good but why not in that case just have attempted to resign Cro? I am just wondering how much the upgrade in talent from Cro to Aso is really worth to this team at the possible cost of losing our own FA's and missing out on ones being scooped up by other organizations. Also, if we do get Aso, what future implications (next year) does that have on the Revis situation, I.E in regard to his deal last year being only a "temporary thing until another deal can be worked out", will he hold out again?
We havent really heard anything from Cro, Braylon or any other of our free agents. Brad wouldnt have seen that kind of money here anyway. If our FA's start dropping like flies we panic. Till then we wait.
This is really driving me crazy. Its a pretty simple decision. If you want the $$$$ then go to the Texans, if you want the better Super Bowl chance, then go to the Jets. Its not that hard of a decision. Its either money or winning. You don't need a week to decide which is more important.
I would make the argument that (even right now, but...we have a DC coach) If you can get BE and Moss for the same $$$$, you already hired Moore as an Off. Consultant, you put a better team on the offensive side than the one that pushed us out 2 years ago. Moss, Edwards, Holmes, Cotchery, McNot, Greene? Who ya gonna call?
