Nope. That's why when an athlete considers NY and Texas teams, NY has to outbid to win (see Cliff Lee last year, who did something strange in the end).. If Nnamdi thinks the Texans can win with him, it's really a no-brainer because they can pay more, and more money is worth even more in Texas because of the tax issue. I just dont think he is sold on the Texans, or else he would have signed with them already.
Talked about. A Revis/Nnamdi commercial would cost $$$$$. Nnamdi is arguably the best CB in the game. Yet before this week a lot of people didnt know who he was. If he comes to New York its a jackpot for us and a jackpot for his notararity Something he is looking for.
Lets hope Aso takes note. All I know is this... The Patriots offense just got alot more explosive with the addition of Chad Johnson. It's a MUST that we either sign Aso or bring back Cromartie. BB just put the pressure on the Jets.
OchoCinco is overrated and Cro or Revis shut him down completely. I'd be comfortable with Kyle Wilson covering him.
I really don't like we're getting all-in on Nnamdi, I don't think he's worth all the money, his pockets are already loaded. So if he wants to win with us that's all good but please do not overload him with even more cash, we can use it elsewhere!
Let's make a nickname for the Revis/Nnamdi combo. Maybe he will sign if he smells the merchandise sales!!
wilson better be able to cuz i dont see him winning a duel with welker. and i have faith in wilson to continue to develop
http://twitter.com/McClain_on_NFL Texans have told players they can't make them offers until they see what happens with the CBs they're pursuing, Asomugha and Joseph.
RR just needs to put pressure on Brady and he folds. No matter who he has wide out. Aso helps us bring pressure.
Revis rapes Chad on the field. Nnamdi isn't needed for the Pats. He is needed for the Colts, Chargers, Saints, Falcons, Cowboys and Packers. And, he is needed to basically take away the Steelers and Ravens ability to move the ball. And Fat Albert is such an awful acquisition for the Pats, that I am becoming convinced Belichick has lost it as a talent evaluator.
That's something I overlooked, marketing wise and ticket sales this is probably the most brilliant move because everybody want those two to see at work, and I can't even think about the hype this is attracting.
