There won't be a run on safeties, because a good number of the teams that need safties also need to figure out what they're doing at cornerback first. There won't be a run on anybody when half of the league is in a holding pattern waiting to see what happens. Asomugha will almost certainly make a decision within the next 24 hours, and after that the floodgates will open. Btw, what does Smith leaving have to do with anything?
Well that makes perfect sense. If there's one guy who's opinion on sports should be dismissed out of hand...well, actually it's Skip Bayless. But Lupica is a close #2.
i think people are putting too much stock into slot wr's/te's/rb's destroying us... not many teams are loaded at those places its really just the pats and or safeties and lb's who people are now calling horrible covered them nicely... plus our coverage was awesome which allowed us to sack brady a bunch... just imagine how much more coverage sacks we would have with aso just being here ignoring the fact that rex is one of the best defensive schemers of all time... aso will make our d significantly better.
This is the (internet). What this comes down to is this: I made a spelling error and a woman corrected it. Who care's if it says I live in my parent's basement? I could honestly care less about a woman's opinion. My internet "persona" is me acting like I know more than basically everyone (it is true though). People take that way too seriously. My real life "persona" thinks...no, no...knows that men are superior to women...plain and simple. I'm successful as fuck and she's still a woman. Living well is the best revenge.
Kay stick to baseball. Did you not see the Jets draft Wilkerson and Ellis in April? Wow he is way off base.
We run a lot of four man fronts, so Wilkerson will probably play some tackle when Ryan decides to do that.
Wilkerson has the size to play some snaps there but either way, he's a big body and I don't know what the fuck Michael Kay is talking about.
Agreed entirely. Last season the Jets very nearly rode the "make their 3rd or 4th best option beat you" strategy to the Super Bowl. And that was without Asomugha, without Leonard, and without any real contribution from Wilson. When most teams have to worry about "don't let Andre Johnson / Wes Welker / Brandon Marshall beat you," it boggles my mind that some people think that the Jets are at a disadvantage because they have to worry about Owen Daniels / Danny Woodhead / Davone Bess.
