People can say whatever they want, it almost always comes down to $$$.

If the Jets, who obviously present the best chance of his suitors to win a championship, offered him a good deal (which I'm sure is still a boat load of money) and he still hasn't decided, he may be looking for the largest cash grab.

I can't blame him if he does, I'd just be disappointed. Hopefully he ends up in green and white.

Do we have any more meetings with nnamdi... maybe were just spoiled but if been led to believe that if Rex had a 4 minute convo with nnamdi, this would be done with...

No, that's not the way you see it. The way you see it, Santonio Holmes is going to cripple our ability to sign any other players. You said it a hundred times 3 days ago.

The way you see it is not relevant anymore. As if it ever was.

which in other words means that Haynesworth is on a 1-2 year deal in NE, his ass will not be anywhere in 2013, not for that price.

as far as braylon, I think to me we see Nnamdi as a bigger improvement than Braylon. If things go south with Nnamdi. I think edwards is the guy we go hard after. We did tell him that we are focusing on Aso, and until he makes a decision we won't be doing much else.

But I really hope we go to mark and ask for a restructure to bring Edwards in. That would be totally insane if we could pull that off on the side....

Finally someone makes a post that is completely sensible. When people say it isn't about the money...It's about the money.

I'm fine with it, I believe in Rex.

I don't however believe in Schotty and would rather sign Braylon.

So the Patriots just signed Albert Haynesworth?

At the age of 30, lets just hope that Haynesworth isn't what he once was with the Titans, because if so? The Patriots defense just became big time winners this offseason.

The Patriots getting Haynesworth is like the Jets getting Jenkins a couple years ago. Huge addition for the Patriots. He'll improve their run defense, he'll help their pass rush, but more importantly? He'll improve their entire defense.

Ty Warren, Vince Wilfork, and Albert Haynesworth will make for the toughest 3-4 defensive line in football. Good luck running against those guys; because it's not happening.

But hey, on the bright side? Maybe a 30 year old Haynesworth isn't what he once was. In 07 and 08 he combined for 91 tackles and 14.5 sacks with the Titans during 27 games. During the past two seasons with the Redskins, he's only played in 20 games (missed 8 games last year) putting up 53 tackles and 6.5 sacks over the past two years.

Hopefully Haynesworth not seeing the football field all that much over the past two years has slowed him down, because if not? That NE defense could return to form here in 2011.

Dude, you were flat-out wrong. Enough already. Just give up, and move on already.
