    I disagree...

The Jets are trying to buy a package they can sell, not just the best FA signing, but the best CB tandum in NFL history. That will anchor the best defense in the NFL for the next few years. I can already see (imagine) the Revis+Aso T-shirts selling off the shelves and his Jersey sales would jump to top 3.

He is a smart, clean cut guy who has never been in trouble and does a lot of chartity work. Very little risk and a big upside. I'm sure some team would give $48M guaranteed to get him if not a $40M signing bonus.

So has he been hurt most of his career? Do yuo think now all of a sudden he'll be healthy for the rest of it? He has not been a very productive guy, the more carries he gets the less efficient he becomes. He's a threat to catch passes out of the backfield and he's a weapon in the open field but Miami had a better duo at RB heading into last year and Ronnie Brown was a dangerous guy catching passes too. This move is an ok move for Miami, I'm not overly concerned.

Kyle Orton's not a "real" QB - he'd be an upgrade over Chad Henne, but not by much. He doesn't have elite measurables. The guy's got the ability to be a game manager though.

As much as Josh McDaniel sucked as a head coach, he's a brilliant offensive mind. His scheme brought out the best in Orton.

He didn't have much help in Denver, so I'll give him that too.

It'd be interesting to see how he'd play with a great check-down option and Brandon Marshall.

Reggie bush was pretty fucking dangerous in New Orleans... He is a playmaker with the ability to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. Miami only has one other guy with that ability on the roster, Brandon Marshall.

Anytime a team can add a player like that, they get better. My QB comment was in comparing Henne to Orton btw. Henne is terrible. Orton is an NFL starter who can be very good at times. Them adding Orton and Bush to Marshall is a step towards them becoming a good team. they need more, obviously, but this is a step towards creating a winning team again in Miami.

Don't you get it, junc...his role in Miami will be as a pass catcher and return specialist. He'll be a change of pace back behind Daniel Thomas.

He'll get maybe 5 to 10 carries and then about 5 receptions a game. This is a player that can take it to the house every time he gets the ball.

Bush can catch passes out of the backfield and he can line up in the slot.

He certainly hasn't lived up to his extremely high expectations, but he's been productive for a team that uses so many different players on offense. Sean Payton literally gets everyone the ball, so you don't really see any player on the Saints with eye-popping stats. What has fantasy football done to fans?

It's a good move for Miami.

well Orton isnt an elite QB or anything, but he is certainly a starting capable QB, which is something they did not have in Henne. then you give him bush to help him out the backfield and Marshall down the field... its an upgrade to their offense. Anybody who doesnt see that is retarded.

Btw, for those unawares... Bush has more receptions than any other RB in the NFL since he was drafted... you guys pigeonhole him based on his running ability. As a rb he is an average player, but everything he brings to the table makes him so much better an option for them than an aging ronnie brown and ricky williams.

  12. Dolphins getting Bush is interesting...although I was much more concerned about him going to New England. I know they love Woodhead in that checkdown RB role...but Bush would have been an upgrade and a frightening one at that.

I don't know if you remember this, but this is a site where people swore that Leon Washington was more talented than Reggie Bush.

I feel like there's still some hate for Bush because of that argument.

Can't some of you guys at least admit that the additions of Bush and Orton is at least a big improvement for the Dolphins? Not sure how anyone is trying to dispute that.

It better be closer to 5, as his carries go up his YPC goes way down. The only 2 years he was over 4 YPC were years he was well under 100 carries. Can Daniel Thomas carry the load? We'll see, I would have been more concerend facing Breadshaw(even though he is a fumbler) than Bush. Miami didn't make a bad deal bringing him in but this isn't something sending shockwaves throughout the division.

NO may spread the abll around but they tried to force feed the ball to Bush over the years and the production did not back that up. We know he has the talent, he has shown flashes. Hopefully he doesn't get it in Miami but we'll see.

How's this avatar? More to your liking?

I have some great ones, but MBGreen seems to dislike them, yet it does seem others go freely...

How are they BIG improvements? Ricky & Ronnie scare me more than Thomas and Bush, Orton is slightly better than henne. He's alightly better version of Ryan Fitzpatrick, he can put up nice #s playing for a losing team but you aren't going anywhere w/ him and Miami will be investing the next 3-5 years w/ him as their starter- this is GOOD news for us.
