43 and 47 yarders aren't chip shots, a 32 yarder and the 20 something yarder he msised at NE are.

Folk barely made that kick, he didn't have any ice in his veins. Vin atieri from 50+ against us had ice in his veins right down the middle.

I'm ok w/ Folk but I'm not thrilled he's back.

Agreed that Edwards may be getting ahead of himself ... i still think that deal can get done. I can't see him getting #1 money.

    Rich Cimini:

#Jets in negotiations with top two draft picks, DE Mo Wilkerson and NT Kenrick Ellis, but no deals yet, according to sources.

Braylon on twitter: "on another note whatever team wants B easy step to the fore front so we can get this thing moving forward. "will work for touchdowns" lol""

^^ certainly sounds like he has moved on in his own mind at least :(

    i dont lol

the guy leaves court to hear about rex n tanny circle jerking to everyone except him.

TB would be a great spot for him actually if the Bucs decide to find a pair and make moves

Honestly, it sounds like he doesn't have the option to move on right now.

    That sounds desperate.

Bay Area beat writer Tim Kawakami seems pretty convinced that Aso is going to NYJ:

    ^^this

Like Miles Davis said about music: there's 2 types: good and bad.

Who (without 'ice' in their veins) wanted that ball in Indy with the game and Bart Scott's ENTIRE SEASON on the line? You junc?

That's why NFL kickers are NFL-level kickers....while most major D-1 kickers can do the job physically, mentally, in the clutch, on the road, with a playoff game on the line, can they?....can you?

there were a couple of ice cubes in Folk's tray if you ask me.....

    nflnetwork twitter:

Hearing rumblings the Raiders could be suitors for Antonio Cromartie. Corner market is very interesting

Braylon needs to look at it from a different way, he had the chance to play for the Jets. Shit we all wish we could spend a day with the team, he got to spend almost 2 seasons with them.

He will get over it, hopefully he can go the Skins and rip up the Patriots when they play this season.

All the other teams seemed to have backed out, its odd. Cowboys cant do it, it seems because they are capped out or near to it. The Ravens, idk wtf they are doing they cut a few players and arent pursuing anyone. The Texans have seemed to slow down also.

How in the world did this happen? 2 days ago it was just a pipe dream, but now we are very well the favorites to get him....wth? If we get him though, all pressures on. We MUST win the Super Bowl, everyone will be picking us...

    That would be amazing.

Cromartie, an ex Jet goes to the Raiders and the Jets get Aso, a former Raider aka the 2nd best overall CB in the game today.

I'd say the Jets came out on top with that one.
