McCourty got more INT's than Revis did last year, therefore he is better.

But! But! McCourty had more interceptions than both of those guys at a fraction of the price is what one one poster stated

The Jets just posted a video titled "NFLN: Staying Holmes; Santonio signs, Nnamdi next?" on their website.

    That's ballsy.

sounds like they just linked to an article/video on NFL.com. I doubt its a video they created themselves...

It's not but still you don't stir the pot like that unless there's some method to the madness.

been running around just got back.

so basically talks are heating up with NYJ and 49ers in the lead and Houston still a possibility?

i also heard wherever he signs it should be reported by the end of today?

anyone else hear the same or can reiterate?

I still recall Edwards carrying McCourty into the endzone in the playoffs.

I've read elsewhere that Houston is out. It's between SF and Jets now.

I said that in the Holmes thread. Years of shit and its pretty much all better now. Even if we "miss" on Aso. Its balsy as hell to even try. And we are doing more than just try. Everyone is.

    ITS AWESOME!

ESPN News just said "Rex Ryan's dreams may just become QB nightmares, after the break we will tell you how close Nnadi Asomoghua is to signing with the Jets" I know this is media stirring the pot, but damn it sounds like this may actually be happening.

It was reported that if it is with the jets this deal is going to take some time. Tanny has to restructure quite a few contracts.

All this just to lockdown a 2nd WR? Sure it'd be great to have him, but not at the cost of losing offensive players and defensive depth. We still don't have another S and we're going to need some depth at CB to cover the guys that were burning us last year.

I dont see how the 49ers can possibly be in this... He's said he wants to WIN, the 49ers have a rookie QB or Alex Smith- how can they win a superbowl. Why woulndt this guy want to make history and form the greatest CB the NFL has seen. In my eyes, thats priceless, with a good shot at a SB run
