Your attempts to educate our fan base would be better absorbed if you actually sounded like you were trying to inform people, as opposed to insulting them.

The news has slowed down, apparently its coming down to the 49ers and Jets. And also apparently he will decide by the end of the day.

    Who knows, be patient.

The problem with this suggestion is that SOJFs aren't capable of absorbing any kind of realistic football knowledge.

Why should I treat them with any kind of respect?

To be fair, both were playoff hopeful at the time they acquired Moss. Tennessee was a completely different team after that trade. Were 5-3 before the deal and 1-7 afterwards...

    Turned downward since TJ...

Dude, one season has passed since we had TJ. That's not enough time to demonstrate a trend. And quite frankly, we had the #1 rushing attack in 2009. It's highly unlikely you improve on that the following year.

You're fighting a losing battle here, guy.

2009 was an excellent rushing season for the Jets, and 2010 was a bit of a step back, but you can't credit all of that to Thomas Jones (I'm not sure you can credit ANY of it)
    Thomas Jones '09: 4.2YPC
    LaDainian Tomlinson '10: 4.2YPC

Greene averaged 5YPC in '09 and 4.1 last season.

Faneca to Slauson was a step back in the running game. Woody was beat up, then out.

2009 was actually historical in terms of offensive line health/consistency, too.

No. Hearing about how everything is going down the toilet and things are worse is like nails on a chalkboard to the new Jets organization. There is no reason to be negative about anything with this team. Be happy.

Both teams have elite running backs and solid defenses, but that doesn't matter with shitty quarterback play.

Randy Moss gave up in Minnesota because that team wasn't going anywhere. Their receiving corps was banged up and he was the only player capable of making any kind of play in the passing game.

He signed with Tennessee to get a little extra money. That's all.

Not only that but the progression of Sanchez and the arrival of Holmes meant the Jets could pass the ball a bit more. In theory you would like to be more balanced.

Do you not remember Percy Harvin's little headache problem? The guy was questionable every week. He never practiced.

    He's a dangerous player...when he's on the field, dude.

Oh, thanks for the back up.

I think your fury addresses a wider scope, basically anyone with less football knowledge than you, which is a significant majority of the board.

If you make your points well enough, you can make people feel dumb without telling them they're dumb.

Yea I was actually thinking of that migraine issue that Harvin was having, and of course Rice was out until later in the year.

Tennessee imploded but did it really have to do with Moss? Moss didn't play in four of those games, and Tennessee was playing QB ping pong between Young, Collins and immortal Rusty Smith. The Coach was on his way out, and both QB's were on their way out. Not exactly the kind of place where Moss was going to have his happy face on.
