NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora reports free agent Randy Moss has "emerged as an option" for the Jets.
The Jets aren't going to pay big money to both Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards, so Moss is now the favorite on what may be an incentive-laden contract. Coach Rex Ryan and GM Mike Tannenbaum have made no secret of their respect for Moss' skills. Even if Moss is only running a handful of routes at this stage of his career, he's a more dangerous receiver than Plaxico Burress. Related: Jets, Braylon Edwards

La Canfora is reporting that they both like each other, Moss and the jets.

Get away from my team, slouch. You aren't destined for a ring.

    Go get me sims-walker instead.

2+2=5 bullshit. La Canfora knows nothing about, and has no interest in, the Jets. His Holmes article today, referencing "sources" was just a word-for-word copy and paste from Manish.

i could live with moss although i really would rather have braylon since moss wont be nearly as big a team player as braylon was with run blocking etc

If we can't get Aso we'll have Braylon. Win/win

While the Jets are signing players, the Dolphins are taking pictures and posing in their complex.

Moss and TO both need to go away....

would enjoy seeing a guy who is/should be hungry Mike Simms Walker come in and play the slot...

That said, I would like to see a true slot guy brought in if we let Edwards go and move Cotch back outside, a Steve Breaston or even Chansi Stuckey would be nice additions.

Kerley should be our main slot WR imo he's a faster Jordan Shipley.

I really do want stuckey back. He was an awesome slot guy, and he's tough as nails.

He still wants this team to win. He fumbled the game away in Cleveland for us.

ESPN New York's Rich Cimini calls free agent Braylon Edwards a "good bet" to sign with the Redskins following Santonio Holmes' return to the Jets.
Cimini reported earlier in the week that the Redskins were recruiting both receivers. Unless they overwhelm Edwards with an offer, the 'Skins could receive competition from the loser of the Sidney Rice derby.

    Unmotivated Randy Moss = Slouch
    Motivated Randy Moss = Beast

You don't think he'd like to stick it to Belicheat and co? I'm all for bringing Moss in if it's a reasonable/incentive laden deal.

Slot receivers don't have to be fast, they need to be quick.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora is confident that free agent SS Dawan Landry will land with the Jaguars.
The Florida Times Union has also reported on the Jags' interest in Landry. Jacksonville missed out on Eric Weddle when he re-signed with the Chargers Wednesday, so their sights now look to be set on Ed Reed's old running mate. Somewhat surprisingly, free agent Michael Huff is generating no buzz.

Interesting considering he said he wanted to stay in Baltimore.

9 minutes ago - by Lisa Zimmerman - Pro Bowl CB has eyes for Jets, not top dollar
Confirmed, per source, CB Nnamdi Asomugha willing to take less money to come to Jets. OK with being second-highest paid CB behind Darrelle Revis

Luckily for him Kerley is both faster and quicker than Shipley! However I like Shipley in the slot and don't think Kerley will be as good... at least not straight away.
