We'll still have to sign a vet wideout. James Jones, Steve Breaston, and Chansi Stuckey might be solid pick ups.

UDFA Courtney Smith might give Scotty McKnight some competition.

Can also explore the trade market for a cheap option (in both cap space and draft picks)

That's always a possibility with Trade Mike running the front office.

If we get Braylon and Aso id be happy with the white guy we drafted as our #3.

Hell you KNOW T.O and Moss would be frothing at the mouth to come here dirt cheap to have one last hurrah at glory before they go out. The odds of a superbowl on this team would be so great for them.

Dont get me wrong Moss is a cancer and all, but for how cheap he could be had and the fact that wed have Aso who gives a shit

I'd be happy with Breaston or Stuckey. Either way, I don't expect this signing to be a long-term investment if we have to replace Holmes or Edwards.

    elaborate?

    offer details?

anything other than the jets talking to aso?

  11. They'd likely bring in a #3 veteran type which Mr. Electric alluded to. I'd love Steve Breaston as he's great after the catch, and also could help in the return game.

Not sure what Malcolm Floyd is gonna yield...but he'd be a possibility as well.

Any way you slice it...Nnamdi and one of the 2 WR's without destroying the future is a dream scenario

If TO or (def not AND lol) Moss meant we could afford Aso and Braylon/Holmes, thats a no brainer to me. Well be crippled by the cap by having Aso +1 so if you can get a talented cancer wr dirt dirt cheap, at the least itll keep teams from doubling our other wrs.

Just said they're talking. Went in depth about how if the Jets do get him how he'll either have to come way down on his asking price or he'll sign a 1 or 2 year contract thats packed with performance incentives.

Speaking from a pure talent-standpoint, I'd like to see us look into James Jones if we lose Edwards.

More injury-prone and probably more expensive.

I disagree..call me crazy, but I think if the Texans got Nnamdi they'd be an elite team, a Super Bowl contender. They already have arguably the best RB and WR in the league, a very good QB in Schaub, and a good young OL. The only reason they weren't a contender last year is because their secondary was so unbelievably awful that they were just getting dominated on defense and the offense couldn't keep up. But adding a lockdown corner like Nnamdi would have the same effect for them as Revis has had for us, and make a huge difference. With Mario Williams, DeMeco Ryans, Brian Cushing, JJ Watt, etc., that's a lot of talent on defense as well. I personally think they'd be very, very good.

...I said he was more talented, not a better deal.
