Damn goodbye Woody, he was on ESPN Radio and he basically said Jets or nothing and that he didnt care about money and that he really wanted to complete what the Jets started.

Miss u, maybe Rex can give him a call and change his mind...

    Maybe the Jets said no.

That's the only reason why he wouldn't come back.

?? Pool turned it on after he learned the defense in full. I think the Jets need to go after Pool. Don't like Smith as a starter.

Smith is pretty versatile and can play OLB in 4-3 looks. Wouldn't mind having him back at the right price.

Bummer about Woody. Wonder if he retired because the Jets weren't interested?

Very good move by the Jets to lock up Hunter in his place though. Can't undervalue O-Line depth and stability.

Yup. Smith is actually a very solid 12th defender type of player. Perfect for this defense. Pool was not special and can be replaced.

I don't know about that...Edwards suffered enough in Cleveland on a team with as much negativity and losing culture surrounding it as Washington.

I just can't see him going to the Redskins unless they blow him away with an absolutely absurd deal.

I could see him going to a team like Chicago or St. Louis. If he plays like he did here for Bradford he would be huge for that team.

If the Rams sign Braylon and Avery comes back healthy, then the Rams are winning that division.

In all fairness, that is not that hard to do, and not much of an accomplishment. Their biggest competitor for the crown, based on last year, has downgraded to Tavaris Jackson at qb.

Braylon vs. Santonio is tough. Both are completely different and both are great for the team.

Hopefully Vrentas is right. It would suck to lose Braylon, though.

Last time he was "the starter" for the viking didnt they make the playoffs?

I know this kid didnt come out the box as a great QB but i believe people will be very shocked at how effective he is at QB for seatle this year.

Morton got injured and was never the same. I think Leon was the better player but he benefited from Westhoff's system just the same.
