All you need is one year to be good. Schaub needs to play better, but they have the receiver and the runningback to be a very good team. The pass defense was just so pathetic last year. Nnamdi would be a huge help. They probably wouldn't be on the level of the Jets, Patriots, Steelers, Ravens, and Colts, but you never know in football.

Someone will give him 12-16 million. The Jets will probably offer 8 or 9. If he's willing to do it, that would be phenomenal.

getting aso is going to depend on how much he wants to be a jet

if he wants to win he will sign here but if he is looking for the money expect him to land on one of the crappy teams like texans redskins or cowboys

Yeah exactly. If you get one of those games where Andre Johnson goes off and/or Mario Williams is unblockable they'll keep the game close and it'll come down to a big play late...a play that they would be able to make.

Asomugha going to the Texans would not be him selling out.

Seriously. He's 30 years old too. Don't get me wrong, he's great, and the best FA out there, but I don't think he's going to get $15M/year either?

I think a Revis deal is basically what he's looking for if he takes a small discount. Without, maybe 4 years $52M? I'd be shocked if someone really gave a 30 year old CB more than $15M/year again.

I know he got his deal a couple years ago but Albert Haynesworth's $100 mil contract is proof that stupid contracts are made in this league.

Holmes, Nnamdi, and Plax I'm 100% down for , even if I do love Braylon .

Why do you want Plaxico Burress? I don't understand why so many of you guys want an aging vet that hasn't played ball in two years.

    It's the Michael Vick Effect.

Prison makes you a better football player than you were before. Science!

Yeah of the older WRs that are available I would take a shot at Randy Moss if he's "motivated". He probably still, at the very least, still commands a double team these days.

Also if you get Holmes and Asomugha you're probably bargain hunting at that point anyway. Even Holmes and Cromartie might not leave you enough time to get Edwards in the fold because of the timeline.

As much of a long shot as it is, Holmes Edwards and Aso instantly makes this team favored to win every superbowl for at least the next 3 years

This is why I'm posting the stories about Plax -> Gints. So this will stop.

If Nnamdi comes here and we only return one WR between Edwards and Holmes then I really hope Kerley and Scottie McKnight turn out to be huge steals.

That's just something that isn't a possibility unless we trade David Harris.

Depends on if guys like Revis and Scott are willing to do what it takes to get this team where its gotta go.

And same from those FAs. At least 2 of the 3 would be willing to take a discount to be here, the real question is how much.
