I completely agree. Prepaid passes save me time. I suspect most people attending games are "parkers" or "commuters." While there are some who will do both, I would bet most people get to the game the same way every time. While I don't like paying for a parking pass to a preseason game, I really don't like sitting in a parking lot for hours while some moron tries to make change or another moron forgets his cash. If the Jets really wanted to go high tech, they would figure out a way for people to pay with EZ Pass.
They don't need to. They've already figured out away that us morons will pay upfront for all our parking, including their worthless preseason games. The money sits in-house collecting interest for them, while we morons don't have the use of it on which to collect the same interest on our own money. It's a beautiful thing.
Oh boy, Mr. Wall Street, money bags is back with his two cents. Loves giving the Jets his money. I guess when you pay 15% TAXES, you can afford to.
Looks like refunds for missed preseason games will be going out. There is no way they get a deal done by the 15th at this point.
I'm not ready to assume that we get refunds. It's always been my experience that we do not get refunds, but rather receive CREDITS toward next year's bill. There have rarely been refunds. I remember two in the last 10 years.
I foolishly paid 100% of my bill, unfortunately. I ridiculously offered to pay the whole thing up front in return for the Row 3 UD seats. But I suppose whatever they decide will have to pertain to me also, regardless of whether or not I chose to pay the 100%. Cut loose the Preseasons already. Who TF wants to pay to go see them anyway?
As opposed to "everything is perfect" x 1,000? Get off your high horse. As much as you are 10000% in your positive direction with everything other people have a right to be on the other side of that coin. The "truth" is somewhere in the middle, as always. It's kind of annoying (and sad) that you feel the need to push your "SAR1" agenda down everyone's throats. These guys have paid thousands of dollars over the years. Why do you feel the need to make your snide remarks? Do you need to justify your $60k purchase? Your flip from anti-psl stance at the beginning? All of these guys have been to the stadium. They know The views, stadium. They choose UD. And by the way, What did SAR1 have for dinner? You are soooooooo far up his butt you have to know.
I am trying to figure out how the preseason will work if they do need to miss 1 game. Would they only miss 1 week of preseason? or need to miss 2? Take for instance the Jets are home weeks 2 and i think 3 or 4 of preseason and play the texans @ houstan week 1. So if we only miss 1 week of preseason the jets still have 2 home preseason games and we still have to pay for both. Where as the texans will now only have 1 home game. Thoughts on this? how it may work out?
