While Greene has the talent (and Oline) to be a league leader, our backfield is looking pretty damn crowded. If Greenes getting 18 + carries a week, that means LT, McKnight shouldnt be expecting many carries, and id be shocked if the Rookie ever touches the ball at all this year. Then again if were running the ball THAT much (40 + carries a game is the only way LT/McKnight get any legit action) makes you wonder how Sanchez is supposed to take the next step.
lol but its wafer thin. on topic. i'd love to see it happen, i'm just concerned if his body can handle it without being hurt too often.
I don't think it's smart to give any RB 300+ carries anymore (maybe if they're AP or CJ). I hope he gets 200+, and we see a fair dose of LT, McKnight, and Powell. That being said, Greene should def be considered the RB1.
I see him having a great year as long as he limits his fumbles. I'm also in the camp that's against him getting 300 carries. When you have depth at RB, use it.
I agree completely especially when we have a comfortable lead id rather see McKnight and Bilal get extra touches. But im really not even sure if the rooks gonna be on the active roster. This guy has to stay healthy and rested for the playoffs, in which case I say let him go fucking wild.
Is dcm1602 ready to come up with an INTERESTING question? We need football SO bad. Perhaps the regular season will put an end to these meaningless questions.
I just thought of a downside to football being back. Reading your posts during the season is excruciating.
