just incredibly filmed this episode...Tyrion stole it all the way! Someone finally got his golden crown!~
i saw the advance showing of episode 7 on HBOgo...what a shitstorm though, their servers were so overloaded i felt like i was watching it on dialup. i'm guessing they weren't prepared for that great episode. (both 6 and 7) shit's gotten real
Episode 6 was amazing. I need 1 clarification though. SPOILER??? When Stark was reading that book with the names and going "Brown hair, brown hair, blonde hair". I understand the implication is that something is up with the blonde's blood line. But what?
That shit was Brutal! And quite literally Metal as fuck! This show is so f'n awesome. I ordered the first 4 books, hopefully I'll be getting them today.
It goes back to the scene in the watchtower with Bran............Although I am not so sure Stark suspects that. The viewers know but he doesn't as of yet.....
Quite possibly the most annoying character in tv history. I was going to sell my sister to white slavery but this episode made me rethink.
That's what I thought but couldn't it also be the Dragon dude since he was hurt by fire and the sister wasn't. Is that possible?
what was really cool about last nights episode as well, for someone like me who hadn't read the book or even heard of it before the series started was how the Targarian princess (Kalisee sp*) had been pensively eying the dragon eggs for a few weeks now. I for one was not aware of their significance. When she didn't get burned while roasting them and when she saw her shit headed brother get crowned, with a molten gold crown, it all made sense to me as she explained that a true dragon cannot get burned by fire.
I have not read the books but I do not think that is in any way possible. That dragon guy couldn't tie his shoes with a road map. I think it was implied that they were young kids when Robert the current King took the throne. By young I mean like 8-10 years old...........
I think Danerys was just exaggerating a bit there...Yes she touched the eggs and it didnt burn her, but if someone decided to pour that gold over her head she'd turn into hot metal too. btw, Viserys was 6-8 when Robert became King and Danerys the Khaleesi was a baby
I didn't take it as exaggeration.. her hands weren't burned handling the hot egg, but her slave girls where when she pulled it from her. Fire falls off this chick just like water would.
A little disappointed about not being able to watch episode 7 online... it was buffering literally all night. But with the many millions that were probably trying to watch it, its no wonder.
I was pretty pumped. I figured this out reading the books a good deal before. So far I'm almost through the third book. It gets better and better, but I must confess, the build up is incredibly slow. I hope there's enough payoff here and there to make the series interesting to the casual television viewer. -X-
It wont matter for much longer... I wonder if people will be able to keep up with the TV show and the cast of characters. Clearly the TV show has done a poor job of explaining the concept of "The Dragon" to the viewing audience. Secondarily, the dragon eggs haven't left the plot line. Drives me nuts that Rob looks very little like Ned in the movie. Makes it hard to keep him and the Iron Throne kid separated. We didn't see the Blacksmith's apprentice in this show, they should have included him in order to keepp his character in front of the audience. If for no other reason that to make it painfully obvious what is going on.
I managed to get it going after about 15 minutes of reloading the page. Check it out later in the week when it calms down I think it's still up. SPOILER ALERT: It didn't suck.
With everything going on it would be easy for people to lose that kid in it all, but I think with everything going on it is hard to get him back out there sooner. Plus, to do it they would have to invent some material, as most of it seems to be following pretty strictly from the book.
